Ashley and I had fun briefing our team from Beaver Creek, TN today!

We took them on safari to the Buford Highway Farmers Market.

Then to Penang to eat Malaysian food for lunch.

Asian Square to see where the Buddhists buy their idols.

They had a great time at Woodgate.

Picked up stamps at the Post Office.

And envelopes, magnets and laminating sheets at Office Depot.

We did all the labels for the big envelopes.

The team also worked at Azalea.

I went by the Atlanta Metro Baptist Association to pick up the newsletter and calendars.

I still have to laminate and add magnets to them.

Went by Party City to pick up supplies for the Thanksgiving party.

Came home to vacuum and thoroughly clean my area downstairs. Needed it.

K and I watched Trains, Planes and Automobiles this evening. Hilarious movie.

I edited the video of the team from Virginia Tech. It’s processing the file into mp4 format, then I’ll upload it to YouTube.

Ashley and I enjoyed briefing our team from VA Tech this morning.

After our dedication time, we went to explore and eat at Plaza Fiesta!

Then to Azalea to work with the kids.

Sure do love my little girl, who’s having a little girl!

Long day. My voice held up pretty well. I used the mic 95% of the time which I know helps.

My voice has been hoarse. Trying to be quiet and rest. Watched church on TV. Jeff Lyle from Meadow Church.

I liked the sermon on miracles and healing.

I wrote up my sermon notes (which are the basis for my Twitter feed) and got them on my automated server that posts them every day.

Spent most of the day on the carpets.

First had to move all the things out of the room and downstairs.

Vacuumed.

Scrubbed the worst spots.

Went to Lowes to rent a carpet cleaner. They were out. So was Walmart. Finally found one at Kroger.

I used it but wasn’t impressed. Didn’t put out much product.

Really heavy and hard to drag.

Turned out well.

I helped put clean sheets on the beds. Hard job.

I also added another string of blue lights.

I enjoy playing with moving the camera with stationary lights using a slow shutter speed.

Our yard guy came over this evening to finish blowing the leaves out of the yard.

Watched several random shows with K including “Everybody hates Chris” and a standup special with Kevin Heart. Always funny.

Nearly 1.5″ of rain last two days.

Spent most of my day cleaning up the area near my water heater.

Took everything out.

Decided what was trash, recycle, Goodwill, storage at FBCD or the Time Capsule (the area under my house.)

Some of the stuff was heavy. Hopefully, my elbow will be fine.

Enjoyed supper with J and K!

We had lunch and saw Spectre. It was pretty good. Had some slow parts.

I liked the helicopter scenes.

Did the family shopping. K and J are thirsty.

Went to Game Stop to pick up the new Star Wars game Battlefront. This game looks uber.

Watched an Italian movie with K. I like foreign movies. Bella!

Spent some time talking with my friend Ian North about some code issues in Chamblee regarding after school programs. Pray that everything will work out and will not affect any of the missions!

Had a few minutes before the mission kids arrived so went to a couple of antique stores in the area. Didn’t buy anything (which is typical about 80% of the time) but I always have fun looking. I thought these tube were cool.

Don’t see this every day.

Had a great time working with the kids at the mission.


Ate supper with Jesse. Went to Walmart to get some supplies for the mission and for our family.

Bad traffic on the way home. Road work on 78.

Kathy went to the doctor today. She’s been getting out of breath really easily. They’re doing some checks including blood work. She goes back for a heart test in a couple of weeks.

I uploaded the recording that Anthony Jacquin, Jesse and I made yesterday.

Came home to prep and get my studio set up to record an interview with a friend of mine in Canada, Anthony Hadlen. We’ve known each other for years. He’s a really talented guy.

Came home to check on our man cutting down the rotten tree.

He sliced up a couple of smaller trees that had fallen.

Kathy had her car wouldn’t start. Went to Stone Mountain to help her get going.

Jesse and I had fun on a Skype session with our friend Anthony Jacquin in the UK. GREAT! We recorded an episode of The Discussion Group on Memory.

Then to the mission to help the kids with their homework.

Great stickers!

We had over 4″ of rain last week.

After being out late Saturday night at the International Worship Service at Briarcliff Baptist Church, I rested on Sunday. I did manage to get the plants moved in out of the cold with Jesse’s help.

My left elbow still hurts, but it seems to be doing better thanks to some massage therapy I’ve learned.

Monday morning I recorded a new podcast!

In light of the murders in Paris over the weekend, I thought we needed a edition on being a lovist, instead of a terrorist.

Monday lunch we had planned to meet up with missionaries from Italy, but their son got sick, so they had to cancel. I had lunch with Ashley anyway. Always good!
