Ashley and I had a great time briefing our team from FBC Jonesboro!

Took them on a cultural safari to the Buford Highway Farmers Market!

Sang there to the delight of the patrons!

We enjoyed hosting Pastor Ed who wanted to see how we do missions!

They did a great job at the missions with the kids!

Had a concert at Highland Knoll.

Got home around 10 pm! Had tech problems with my upload. Got up early Tuesday to fix it and work on names.

We had a restful morning. Didn’t go to sleep till after 3am. Getting wired up about the teams coming. Awesome!

Ashley and I went to our partners at Perimeter this afternoon to talk to the leadership from their youth group. They will be leading this summer’s Gold Rush camp.

Dropped by FBC Doraville to finish setting up for tomorrow’s briefing. Talked to the ladies from FBC Jonesboro who are cooking for the youth group that’s working with us.

Took Ashley home then came back to our house.

Flew my drone outside. My batteries have gone bad. It was still fun to fly for a little while.

Cleaned and filled my hummingbird and other bird feeders.

Enjoyed a restful morning.

Ate Turkish food for lunch at Cafe Istanbul. A food fav.

Went to the new Brain exhibit on at Fernbank. I knew way more than what was displayed.

Had a fun supper with K and J.

For some reason, the SD card with the pictures I shot today malfunctioned. Could have been user error. Bahd luck.

Thursday, I ran 5.10 miles.

Went for a late lunch with Kathy.

Then met up with Ashley at FBC Doraville. We checked on our team from Sandy Springs. They did a great job.

Enjoyed watching the Mentalist with K in the evening. Then admin duties.

Friday, Jesse and I went to Snellville to do lunch, then go to Barnes and Noble.

I liked the coloring books for grown ups.

Did research on my trip to Peru in September.

Went shopping at Walmart with Jesse. Somehow these stacked bricks reminded me of Madagascar.

Came home to work on admin duties.

Hmmm. In my neighborhood.

Dropped off the financial report to our treasurer.

Edited a video for my friends Ron and Debi Cole who sang the special music before I preached.

Uploaded to YouTube as well as burned a DVD for them


Also added material to my feed on Twitter. 80,000 plus followers.

And caught up the site www.VerbalSurgery.com/podcasts.

I had over 30 episodes that I had recorded that weren’t on my website. Glad it’s current now.

Met up with Ashley at FBC Doraville.

We ate Indian food today at Culcutta Palate. We’re always looking for good places to bring the teams. We did admin duties there as well. Included mailing thank you notes to supporters and calling Comcast to check on the internet at the mission.

Set up the locations for our team from FBC Jonesboro next week. Talked to a couple of partners. It can get dramatic at times. I try to be the voice of peace and reason.

Drove to Sandy Springs to check on the team from Tennessee. We had a little extra time, so we looked for maternity clothes. She got some cute stuff!

The team is doing great at the complexes. Proud of them.

The group from the Atlanta Chinese Christian Church is having a fun time with the kids at Azalea.

Came home to work on admin duties.

We met at FBC Doraville. We had some admin duties to take care of there.

Then to meet the team from the Atlanta Chinese Christian Church North! They are living and working at Azalea for the next 10 days. Always one of our favorite teams!

Then to Sandy Springs to check on the team from Fountain City, TN! They are doing a great job with the kids there! This afternoon, they will start brand new work at Highland Circle apartments. Lord, help there be a rich blessing there!

Ash and I went by Office Depot to get some supplies and back to Azalea to take another look at the team.

Then to FBC Doraville again, where we checked on the mail and I picked up some supplies for the Tennessee team.

Home now working on admin duties.
