I enjoyed having Jesse around the house today. He’s getting the started checked out at our mechanics.

We had a good lunch together.

Came home to check on our man cutting down the rotten tree.

He sliced up a couple of smaller trees that had fallen.

Kathy had her car wouldn’t start. Went to Stone Mountain to help her get going.

Jesse and I had fun on a Skype session with our friend Anthony Jacquin in the UK. GREAT! We recorded an episode of The Discussion Group on Memory.

Then to the mission to help the kids with their homework.

We had over 4″ of rain last week.

After being out late Saturday night at the International Worship Service at Briarcliff Baptist Church, I rested on Sunday. I did manage to get the plants moved in out of the cold with Jesse’s help.

My left elbow still hurts, but it seems to be doing better thanks to some massage therapy I’ve learned.

Monday morning I recorded a new podcast!

In light of the murders in Paris over the weekend, I thought we needed a edition on being a lovist, instead of a terrorist.

Monday lunch we had planned to meet up with missionaries from Italy, but their son got sick, so they had to cancel. I had lunch with Ashley anyway. Always good!

I cleaned up the leaves off of St. Francis.

We worked at the mission with the kids. Not too many today, but several with projects.

I went to a flea market. I thought this old laptop was funny.

I got this little potty chair for Penelope.

This morning I worked on repairing a stool that my wife uses.

Somehow the metal ends rusted. I cleaned them off and repainted them.

It left marks.

Also had a meeting with my tree guy. I have to have a dead tree taken out and a couple that have fallen cut up.

Went to the Thanksgiving International Service at Briarcliff Baptist Church this evening. It was interesting, but they always go long. Took right at two hours.

The choirs from churches from India, Ethiopia and Latin America sang.

A couple of the pastors gave short sermons.

Came home to watch Baylor play Oklahoma. They’re at half time and behind OU by a touchdown. AARgh.

I had a fun day with my children today!

I went to lunch and to the bookstore with Jesse. Always pure awesomeness.

I never thought I’d see vinyl advertised at a book store again!

This evening we met up with the Kendalls to celebrate Ashley’s birthday. Groovy!

Jesse helped me bring in all the plants. Supposed to get to 35 this evening. Ouch.

I bought this little cactus for Ashley.

Took time this morning to make calls to a couple of pastor friends. Looking forward to speaking at Briarcliff Baptist Church this Saturday and Roopville Road BC in March!

Went to Walmart to pick up some supplies.

We’ve had a small leak from our shower. Went to Lowe’s to pick up some silicon caulk.

Replaced the caulk with some new.

Went to my dentist to get a cleaning. A+ on my score card! No cavities. I really like my dentist, he’s the best I’ve ever had.

Enjoyed working with the kids at the mission. Had a family to help me. They brought cupcakes.

Colored lips are always in style.

K and I watched Elementary together. Great show.

Never too much chilluns. The Italian place is called Collosus. I remembered that they had a picture of the actor who played Darth Vader. They didn’t use his voice!

Came home and had a session with Ashley. Went over her breathing and relaxation techniques and also some visualization ideas. I really think she’s going to do GREAT! She has amazing will power once she’s set her mind to something.

I made a recording of our time together. I think it can help other moms, too.

Watched a really good French movie called, “Populaire” with K tonight. Excellent.

Met up with Ashley at FBC Doraville. Kathy came with me this afternoon. Always good to have her around.

Unfortunately, Ashley locked her keys in the car. Miles came over with the clicker, but it didn’t work. Bahd luck. I went to AutoZone to get a new battery. Changed batteries but the clicker still didn’t open the door. They wear out over time or else it may have to be re-calibrated.

Turns out that she DID have a hide a key! Got it out and got into the car. AMEN.

We all went to eat at Piccadilly. Great to have everyone together.

K was tired by the time we got home.

You can actually see out the back window pretty well.

The beach was beautiful, but it was overcast pretty much the entire time we were there.
