J! Amp! Supplies!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:47 pm

Stayed up till about 1:30am talking to Jesse last night! Always a blessing!

Wasn’t feeling well this morning. Super tired after the last three days. Scratchy throat and just whipped.

Worked on admin duties after I woke up. Included editing the video that I shot, uploading the video to YouTube, burning a dvd for the team and send them an email with the links to the media.

To the bank to deposit checks. AMEN!

Cleaned the debris from the storm last night off the driveway.
s
Rained nearly 1.5″.
s

Went to take my amplifier in to get repaired.
s
One of the channels isn’t working. I’d like to have both channels so we can use both of our wireless microphones.
s

Walmart and Dollar Tree for supplies for this coming Sunday and next Sunday. I’ll be preaching on “Outreach Greatest Hits.” My ideas for how best to share with the community.
s
I picked up about 300 picnic bags which will have a couple of mints, a pen, a red thread and two notecards.
Total cost for the 320 bags and supplies was $64.

Also picked up some LED lights and extension cords for our displays. I think the extra light will really make them pop!
s

Each member will decorate a bag to either give to a neighbor or put in their mail box. The note will mention an invitation to our church. It will also say that, “You’re MINT to be loved!”

The note cards will be a promise to pray for one individual lost friend.

The Red Thread will serve as a Prayer Trigger.

I’m excited to see what will happen when they adopt some of these strategies.

It’s a lot of work to get these together and I still need to get the Power Point presentation together. It’ll be a busy day tomorrow!

Enjoyed watching Foyle’s War with K this evening.

Trying to get an early night.

Say what?!

DDay! Plaza Fiesta! Asian Square! China Town! Missions!

Tim A. Cummins @ 12:59 pm

Ashley, Penelope and I had a great Dedication Day with our team! Sadly, there were about 20 people who got a stomach virus which made them throw up. Ashley was sick, too. Sad for so many to miss our final time together.
s
Brandon was an amazing leader. The team got the Golden Egg of Eggcellence.
s

We gave our briefing on Catholicism.
s

Passing the Baton. “It’s up to ME!”
s
Promise to pray for our friends.
s
Anointing with oil from the Holy Land. “May the Lord bless you and keep you.”
s

Had our dedication time including Signing the Landing Pad.
s
s
On safari to Plaza Fiesta!

Sweet Ashley was feeling poorly, couldn’t eat. I sent her on home. Then did a briefing on Buddhism.

Took them to Asian Square and China Town.

The day had been rainy, but by the time we went to the mission the rain had cleared off! Bwana asifiwe!

We had our egg hunt and told the Easter story to the kids and threw candy.
s

After the missions we went back to FBC Doraville to do supper. The church where they were staying didn’t have any water! Hard on the sick folks!

The team helped me fold our newsletters. Got them into the mail.

Came home to spend time with Jesse and K. Talked with J until 1:30am. GREAT to spend time with him. Saved my admin duties till Friday morning.

Glad to see the pollen washing away.
