It was our final day with our Charlotte team. DDay is always special.

P was too small for this ride. Reminded me of when Ashley was five and rode on the back of an elephant. I remember asking her, “Ashley do you want Daddy to ride with you on the elephant?” She answered, “No, Daddy. I can do it on my own. I’m five.” My daughter. Always the intrepid one!

Returned to FBC Doraville to give our new team the initial briefing.

A constant state of child juggling. Wow. She is active.

We gathered up our kids at the missions and gave everyone a back pack and almost all the school supplies they needed. There were a few items we still need to get, like binders. I’m going to make a shopping list Tuesday and then go and buy stuff on Wednesday.

We’ve had the “Yeah, Baby!” and “Best Day Ever!” t-shirts since 2013. Today was the first day that I’ve worn one. I normally wear my brain shirts. (And in case you’re wondering, I have 22.) Baby’s diaper didn’t do it’s job. Bahd luck.

It was raining after our trip, so we worked on cleaning and organizing Azalea Place mission in preparation for the team that will be staying there this week.

This morning Ashley took me to T and G to pick up my car. I had the rear brakes done.

We dropped off the newsletters to the US Post.

We got her car cleaned.

She went to Brevard, NC to speak this evening. I’m sure she wowed them. Ashley has serious game.

I ate Mexican food with Ashley for lunch. P loved the chicken in the tacos!

K and I got to watch Penelope for about five hours. She’s always so awesome!

This morning I met up with Ashley and Penelope. We went to FBC Doraville to build the set for The Show. We got it totally set up in about an hour. Pretty fast.

We took about another hour to put a chalk board sheeting on a wall board.

Ashley can draw on it with special markers.

Enjoyed eating at Pho 24. We got food for Miles and Jesse, too.

Watching Stranger Things with Kathy.

Stuffed the envelopes with our newsletters. Envelopes weren’t sealing very well. Kept coming apart. Not zesty.

I had four teams last week. Yesterday, I edited two of the videos. Today I did the other two.

It’s quite a procedure including editing the video, uploading to YouTube, getting the link to the video and then sending the link to the team along with the links to their photo galleries.

Hard to keep stuff straight. I continue to develop better systems of doing things.

I consider the team “complete” when that task is accomplished and when the hard copy DVD is in the mail to them.

Enjoyed lunch with Jesse. Always interesting.
