Went to Clarkston to pick up Ashley and Penelope. We drove to FBC Doraville to check the mail. Met up with our friend Joel Harrison of the Atlanta Metro Baptist Association. He’s helping us print our newsletters and promo material.
We had a fun lunch and talked about the future of missions in our area.
Dropped the girls back to their house and came home.
Working on the admin duties and plan on doing research later.
Took Jesse and Kathy out for pizza.
Then went to Eagle Eye bookstore to meet Mark Greaney the author of the Gray Man series. One of my favorites!

Tuesday I did a deep scrub on the areas with the high traffic areas.
Today, I got the machine and cleaned the house.
Took the machine back to Lowes.
This morning I got all of the documents necessary to get K’s new driver’s license.
I wrote thank you notes to supporters who had sent money for Dad’s memorial to Whirlwind Missions.
Worked at them mission with the kids. They helped me push Penelope around. We had other volunteers today.
P liked dancing in the back of the truck. Her shoes made really nice tapping sounds.
Got J’s boots from our tailor.
Gassed up my car.

Pink Magnolias are starting to bloom. This is my favorite tree.
My little trees are starting to bloom, too!

Had a fun lunch with our friends from Peachtree Corners Baptist Church. They’ll be leading a group of middle and high schoolers this Summer.
I dropped the girls off at their house and came home.
Sorted out bills with our medicine delivery people. I have a new debit card so have to update the information.
Went back to the mission to work with the kids.
Had fun with Penelope on bikes and a plastic car.
Big pile of girls followed us around and had fun.
Then she wanted to push the car.
Always trash to pick up.
Took Jesse over to Plaza Fiesta to get his jacket sewn up. Then we ate pizza at Cicis.
Came home to watch Netflix with K.

High score in Battlefront.
Beautiful sunset.

This morning, I worked on updating accounts with my new debit card number. Seems like my card gets hacked about once a year.
Sorted my vitamins. Ordered more.
Kathy and I went to Stone Mill church to support Ashley who was talking to the Youth Group.
Pastor Tito Ruiz has been like a brother to me for over twenty years. He baptized two kids today. Amen!
Normally, I take Penelope on “Walkabout.” I just let her wander and talk to her and interact with objects. Today, I focused on colors. The walls in hall outside where Ashley was speaking were painted in bright primary colors.
She enjoys trying new things.
First time to climb stairs holding rails.
I let her try, then help her up.
Ashley did great. No surprise there.
She’s so beautiful.
We went to Santa Fe Mall to check out food places and pinatas.
We decided to eat Chinese instead.
P’s first lollypop.
Came home to rest.
Cleaned fish tank.
Admin duties now.
You can tell Penelope was here.

I went outside to check out the Snow Moon last night! Beauty.
I didn’t think the eclipse made much of a big deal. It was only partially shaded out. Not a true eclipse.
I didn’t even bother trying to see the comet. Those things are so nondescript. Fuzzy little snow ball. That’s it?! Yep.
So unless scientists really promise something special, that you can see with the naked eye, it’s almost sure to be a disappointment.
Had a fun day today! I took the Ashley, Miles and Penelope to Cafe Istanbul. Jesse met us over there. Yummy bread and hummus. Plus gyro!
Then we went to Ferbank to see the Wild Weather exhibit. I thought it was pretty cool.
Does this remind you of anyone?
Cool.
Penelope liked the dinosaurs!
Then we went to the top of Fernbank which was the kids section. It was really incredible. WAY better than I though it’d be.
Took the kids to their house then came home.
Worked on organizing K’s meds.
Helped Jesse find something. We never could find it. It was some old software he was interested in.
Took Kathy and Jesse to Pizza Cafe.
Admin duties now.
Another high score in Battlefront. 1289 in all.

Today I worked on my taxes!
Hardest part is figuring out all the utility bills for the year. As an ordained minister, I’m allowed a housing allowance. Saves me a bit on taxes.
Took it to the Post Office to send it Certified Mail to my tax guys.
Enjoyed lunch with Kathy, Jesse, Ashley and Penelope today!
This was the first time I’ve seen P go down stairs without sitting down. She held onto the railing and lowered herself down.
She goes through the entire restaurant smiling and pointing.
Came home to enjoy time with Kathy. Glad to say she’s feeling better.
Did some shopping with Jesse.
Got Valentine candy and tea cup Roses.
We watched the final episode of Raising Hope on Netflix. 88 episodes on Netflix first four seasons. Such a great show.

Great to have all my girls together!
Worked on the Granular List. Finished the first set of cities.

Got rid of trash around the mission.

This morning I started to work on the Granular List. The GL is an extension of the Research List. It consists of the 41 cities within an hour’s drive of our HQ in Doraville.
I found out that one search city, such as Carrolton, may include seven or eight other cities that are also on my list.
Of course there is a lot of repetition. I’m always asking myself, “Didn’t I see this one before?” After a couple of pages, I definitely recognize the site and go to the next church on the list.
Ate Nepali food in Clarkston with Ashley, Penelope and Kathy. Penelope likes to play with the machines.
She also thought it was fun when I spun her around in the chair.
I like the signage there.
Did 22 more Promo Packets for churches in Indiana and in Georgia.
Sorted pages.
Got them in the mail.
Came home to work some more on the Granular List,
Went to Clarkston to pick up Ashley and Penelope.
Stopped by the bank to deposit money. Amen for that!
Helped the kids with their homework.
We have fun with P when there’s not much homework.
Gassed up the car on the way home.
Admin duties now.
Another personal best in Battlefront: Total score of 11,860 with 20 droids captured.
Do you know where this is from?
My guess is Hawaii
Beauty.

I spent most of my day working on the Research List.
I completed all the cities in Indiana and Illinois.
That marks the completion of the initial 15 state, 168 city list.
I have each city tagged with a state color.
Then I organize them alphabetically.
I took out the Georgia cities, because the next step in my plan is to have a granular approach. That means now I start going through every city on the map within an hour of Atlanta.
We will especially promote the One Day Mission Trip for these churches that are close by.
Met up with Ashley and Penelope for lunch. Always good.
Came home to work on the map and figure out the cities on the new list. Looks like 43 Georgian cities within an hour drive from our HQ.
Went to Clarkston to get the girls, then over to the mission to help the kids.
Penelope loves to make a big mess.
She laughs and laughs.
It was raining, so I didn’t really expect anyone to show up. We had six. I was surprised.
Did the grocery shopping before going to Clarkston and back home. We ate subs before getting back on the rainy highway. It was the first time for Penelope to try a sippy cup. She did great!
Put up the groceries.
Watched Raising Hope with K. We’re almost through four seasons! What a great show.
