Phone! Bike! Podcast! 9.14.19

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:46 pm

Studied Español and Brain Training.

My phone has had trouble charging. I made a claim on my insurance to get it replaced with a new one. It’s still a 7+, but it’s brand new. It cost me $300. Just to get the charging port repaired on my old phone would have been close to that.

I look forward to watching this.

I rode my bike 14.79 miles this evening.

I released a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “Loud Cloud!”

September 6-13.19

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:39 pm

On Friday the 6th I made a quick trip out of town to help a friend. Got the job done and came back Saturday. Sunday, K and I went to the beach for a mini vacation.
We stayed at the Dunes.

I enjoyed riding my bike around the Historic District.

Always enjoy seeing St. John the Baptist.

Love the Spanish Moss.

Beautiful buildings.

We enjoyed the beach.

I really enjoy being on the Lighthouse in Tybee. It’s my favorite seat in the world.

Incredible sunsets!

And moon!

You may remember that I plan to be buried at Bonaventure Cemetery. I had created my own gravesite. Sadly, the two massive oaks above my site fell and were cut down. So I moved my site to a different location. It’s right on the edge of Bonaventure. The marble I collected from discarded pieces. There is no name on either slab, The flowers were all thrown away from other graves. I cleaned them up and reused them. I had some little toys I also left on the stones.

I like the new spot. There’s a retaining wall to sit on. I like to sit and think about my mortality.

Jon! Car! 9.4.19

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:35 pm

Had a good lunch with my friend Jon Paul today. We always have a great conversation. On the way to take him home, my check engine light came on. Had to take it to my mechanics. They got it fixed for exactly $200. Not too bad.

I walked home. No big deal.

Always something interesting to see.

Not sure what this means. I think it’s a mark for roadwork.

Cicada.

I found this old picture of me and Ashley in Mombasa. Looks just like Penelope.

Rode my bike 12.65 miles this evening.

Got a replacement shoulder bag. I wore the one I took to the Amazon completely out.

I did my brain training this afternoon. Still need to work on Spanish in a moment.

Roof! Mission! Carl!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:37 am

Spanish!

Good chat with my buddy, Anthony.

I noticed some water damage to the sheetrock near my front door. Went up in the attic to check for where the leak was coming from, Super nasty job.

I found where a limb had punched a hole in the roof, I caulked it, and out a piece of tarp over the hole. Then put two new shingles over it.

Checked the mail at the office.

I got Penelope a new car seat!

To the mission!

Got a text from my friend Pat that her husband Carl was back in the hospital in very serious condition. I went over to support them. The Lord answered our prayers and he’s doing better!

Watched a gorgeous sunset while I was there.
