I beat Borderlands 3 last night. It still has more game to go, though. It’s been fun.
Studied Spanish this morning. I’ll do my brain training later tonight.
I stuck my silk flowers back in the ground.
My Pink Magnolia is starting to bloom. So beautiful.
I cleaned out the bird baths.
Got the big bag of cat food into my trashcan from my car. That’s where I keep it out of the weather. The trashcan is weatherproof. That’s my raccoon and possum food. But a lot of the birds like it as well! Birds eating cat food. Ha.
I hung up my whirligig outside my office. It’s been hanging in my garage, so it rarely spun. A big limb fell and crushed my other one.
I painted it gold to stand out more.
This struck me as weird.

Did my Spanish and brain training. Surprised? It’s all about consistent effort.
Enjoyed the grand girls today.
We like Dunkin doughnuts.
Checked the mail at the office and watered my ficus tree.
The kids helped us with the labels at the mission.
I helped them with homework. One of the boys in fifth grade had homework I sincerely doubt 95% of grown-ups could do. It was astonishing in complexity. I asked him how many kids in his class could do it. He said three. That’s a class of 30. Wow.
Studied Spanish and did my brain training and breath work.
Had a fun day with the grand girls.
Good when the rest!
Worked with the kids at the mission. I get to use a lot of Spanish with some of the kids, so it makes my work pay off. Got my taxes in the mail today. Always good.
Checked the mail.
Deposited checks.
Enjoying Borderlands 3.

Did my brain training, breath work, and Spanish study. As usual.
Had a great time with the grand girls today. We went to Goodwill and had a fun time.
Then worked with the kids at the mission. Not many showed up because it was raining pretty hard. I enjoy it in particular because one of the kids I’m working with doesn’t speak English all that well. So we do his reading assignment and then I translate as best I can into Spanish and then some of the other kids help me to make sure I’m getting it right. It’s good practice.
Gassed up the car.
Got my check in done for my trip to Houston tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing Jim Pirtle tomorrow. He’s the closest person I know to an artistic genius. His bar NotsuoH is one of my favorites on the planet.

Did my brain training, breath work, and studied Spanish.
I went to Rockbridge Baptist Church this morning.
Pat Barrington gave a message on her recent trip to Cuba.
Pastor Bill spoke on the importance of hospitality. I certainly resonated with that sermon.
I installed chrome on my Mac. Now and when I use Netflix to listen to foreign language shows, I can see the subtitles in English and in Spanish at the same time. It’s a good way to learn new material rapidly.
It’s been a rainy day today.
I watered my plants.
Also paid some bills.
I’m looking forward to my trip to Houston this week. It’s just a couple of nights but it’ll be fun.
I had a great conversation with my buddy Jay Noblezada last night. Good times!
