Picked up my car from the shop. New brakes. It’s a good idea to stop a car!

Met a man from Albania today. Very interesting conversation with him. The international community is my favorite part about Atlanta.

Still not feeling 100%. Congested and ears are stopped up. May have pushed myself too hard yesterday.

I did my brain training and Spanish study.

I got the oil changed in my car. Then they told me I also needed a brake job. I’ve spent nearly $1000 on my car in less than a week. Ouch!

I rode my bike 14.76 miles today.

That’s the first serious exercise I’ve gotten since I’ve been sick. Felt great to get out and ride. It’s still cold, but I have the clothes to make it OK.

Had a fun talk with Jesse tonight.

Also got him some gas in his car. I’ve been using his since mine’s been in the shop.

Saw three raccoons last night at my feeders. Always fun.

Kathy and I had a fantastic day with the grandgirls today. Took them to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

The orchids were incredible. Well worth seeing! Thanks to Pat Barrington for her generous gift of tickets!

I loved the pitcher plants, too!

Checked the mail.

Got the newsletters and the tax donor letters into the mail today.

Helped the kids with their homework.

Working with Penelope on her letters and sounds. Started some basic words.

Took my car to get the oil changed.

I went over 500 lessons of Spanish on Duolingo today.

Another cold night last night. Got down to 21°!

Did my brain training and Spanish study this morning.

Had a good meeting with Pastor Ben.

My car was having trouble shifting today. I took it over to my mechanics to get them to change the cable for the shifter. No car at my house!

Watched the grand girls for a couple hours.

Went to Azalea to help the kids at the mission.

Checked the mail at my office.

Worked on the Secretary of State documents for our nonprofit this evening.

Looking for another cold night tonight.
