Jon! Bank! Azalea! 11.20.25

The server for Arc Raiders had a problem last night. People were pissed.

Had a fun lunch with the treasurer for Whirlwind Missions today. Jon Paul is one of my best friends and closest advisors.

I was missing a couple of things from my Walmart pick up order this week. I figured out how to report it and ended up getting a refund. Great!

Walmart now delivers by drone. What?

Processed and deposited checks.

We’re off next week for Thanksgiving. The girls will be with me Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. What a blessing!

Beautiful sunset.

It’s just about keeping going.

Weather Station! Azalea! 11.19.25

Got the return codes for Amazon organized. Took the pillows and laser device to the UPS store and Whole Foods this afternoon.

Refilled and put J’s water bottles in her fridge.

We had a power outage for a few seconds at our house yesterday. After that, Nana’s weather station wasn’t reading the outside sensor. I changed batteries and reset it. Then it worked fine.

Vocabulario.

K noticed this restaurant and wondered what it was. Guesses?

Were you right?

Got a filling done today. It was harder to do than the doctor expected. Part of the tooth cracked off. He had to use another typer of polymer as a filling since there was a lot of blood from having to trim the gums. The filling material is not as strong but hopefully will last. He said if it had a problem, “Come back and I’ll put the stronger material when the gums have healed.” Sounds like a plan. I rarely chew on hard things any more.

I thought this K-Pop Demon Hunter show from Korea was pretty good. I wish I could get this advertisement for Everly. She loves their music. Everly told me she is going to start taking singing lessons. I like that.

I thought tucking in little Finny Fox was so cute. Penelope is such an angel.

Penelope had a headache when she got off from the bus. We took the girls home and I got Penelope some medicine. I have to take a picture of the bottle so I can zoom it in on my phone. I gave her a couple of ibuprofen.

I helped the kids at the Mission. K stayed with PE at their house since Penelope wasn’t feeling great.

Looks like the health care is coming together.

I’m sending some things back to Amazon for my Mom. A couple I’ll take to the UPS store near me and one to the Whole Foods in Chamblee by the Mission. Amazon is specific about which store takes which items for free return. The UPS store near me can accept items, BUT they’re going to charge me $6.99 to do it. No, thanks. Whole Foods is near the Mission and always free. This time the UPS store near me also did it for free.

Took the trash to the curb. They pick up early.

It’s a long-term thing.

PEK! BANK! AZ! GROCERIES! 11.17.25

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:43 pm

Edited and printed up the birthday messages for Penelope and Ashley from Nana.

Cool.

Came in third place last week. I got edged out in the last thirty minutes! I like that kind of effort.

Did my laundry.

Filled up J’s water bottles.

K and I picked up the girls at the bus and went to Taco Veloz. I wrote P’s name in French fries.

Envios in Spanish means you’re sending something. I thought it was interesting that they would be sending beer cans.

Helped the kids at the Mission.

I saw this sticker on one of the cars at Azalea. Didn’t know what it meant.

Screenshot

Nana helped me order the groceries. K and I picked them up on the way home. We had to wait about twenty minutes to get the groceries, and then didn’t get all my stuff. I left a review about it. First time I’ve ever done that.

I pruned my rubber tree before I brought it inside. I left the really tall branches outside on the ground. Before it froze, I went out and got them. I’d been reading about propagation and I figured I’d try it.

Deja vu.

Leaves! Rake/Blow! Driveway! Street! 11.16.25

Watered my roses. I cut one bush back and I thought I had probably killed it. But it started sprouting!

Perfect weather for yard work.

Screenshot

Swept and scrubbed the kitchen floor with a rag. Then dried it off.

I retaped the entrance rag. Old tape was coming unstuck.

I tried cleaning my shoes while they were still on my feet. Seemed to work pretty well. Easier on your hands.

This morning I saw a rat in my green room. I set up two small and one large traps.

I helped my Mom get her iPad and charging situation squared a way.

Cleaned the recessed area of the shower. I used my toothbrush and an old head.

Listened to Don Cheto while I raked.

Screenshot

It’s always a daunting job.

Today, I decided rather than just put the leaves in the yard, I’d take all the leaves to where they’ll finally end up: at the bottom of my yard. Why move them twice?

The blower is great for getting the smaller stuff.

I picked up sticks while I was cleaning.

My trees created a hazard in the street. I got all the leaves up and put them in my recycle areas.

Looks better! In a few days I won’t be able to tell it’d been done.

Recorded and released a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “Investinstigate”. May be my worst title ever. But the content is good!

Set up my account with Map Genie. Arc Raiders is a great game, but it’s hard to find things you need.

I’ll come in second, probably.

Ashley’s Birthday! Arc! Bike! Azalea! Sunset! 11.13.25

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:45 pm

Rode my bike 12.93 miles last night around midnight. I ride for almost exactly 30 minutes and quit. The mileage changes every night, but not the time. My fastest was over 14 miles in 30 minutes.

I took K for Indian food today. So good.

Went to my office to check on the mail. I’ll process and deposit the checks tomorrow. No time to do that today.

Helped the kids at the Mission.

After the tutor time, I got the kids to help me pick up trash. We cleaned the playground and the area near the median in the front by the Office and the Mission.

The girls came home with us. What a blessing they are.

Sunset on the way home was spectacular. I pulled off the side of the road so I could shoot this series.

Just keep doing it.

Arc! J’s Bed! Carnivores! PEKA! Azalea! 11.12.25

Arc Raiders! Tires! PEM! K! Ash! AZ 11.11.21

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:54 pm

I started a new game last night: Arc Raiders! It’s just been released and has been getting rave reviews. I’m enjoying it so far. It’s a big game that has to be studied to do well. I’ve been watching videos about it for days in preparation for getting it. Pretty serious business for playing a game.

Screenshot

Got well below freezing Monday night with enormous wind gusts. I put two more towels over the window in my room. I thumbtacked them to the sheet rock to keep air from seeping in. The towels were literally blowing like sails. Crazy talk.

OYB!

Warmer today.

Good to see that K’s scans will be covered by insurance.

Screenshot

Did laundry.

On the way home from Azalea last night, I got a low tire pressure alert. I stopped at a gas station and checked all the tire pressures and they were all around 30 lbs. No tire was significantly different from the others. It was super cold and dark so I decided to wait until daylight to buy a new tire gauge and check and add air.

I added 4 lbs of pressure to each tire making them all 32 lbs. The tire rating said 36 lbs. Not sure why the mechanic put it so low at 28. Also don’t know if the extreme cold affected the sensors. After I added more air, the low tire pressure light went off. Amen.

I got the heater in my Mom’s room hooked up through a zip strip so she can turn the heater off or on in the morning while she’s still in bed.

Miles joined us a Waffle House. What a sweet family. Later in the evening, we met Ashley at home. K and I gave her some flowers.

Went to Whole Foods to drop off a package for Amazon.

Screenshot

K and I helped the kids at the mission with their homework.

It was very cold, so K organized races to warm the kids up.

Had to remind K about using her cell phone to watch videos. It eats up a lot of her allotment.

Screenshot

Third or fourth this week, I reckon. People don’t usually change that much from week to week. It’s not too hard to tell who will study the longest.
