Picked up Penelope and Everly. PEK and I went to the BHFM for late lunch.

Didn’t do our tutor time at Azalea. Too cold/windy. Hopefully, we’ll get the Mission apartment back soon. County is really dragging their feet on the repairs to the damaged apartment. We don’t want to draw attention to Azalea because of the immigration situation.

Got gas and checked oil at Walmart. Then picked up groceries.

Listened to Don Cheto while I played Borderlands 4.

I’m downloading the game ARC Raiders. Looking forward to trying it out. I got a headset to use while I’m playing.

I went to Stone Mountain to record Verbal Surgery “Cold Front.” I’ve been recording near the Carillon. It’s very quiet over there.

My transparent cover for my MacBook Air developed cracks and eventually broke off. I ordered a new one and installed it this afternoon.

Brought my carnivores in. Should be able to put them back outside next Thursday. They need to have a dormant stage, but I don’t leave them outside when it’s freezing.

Rained about 1/2″ earlier this week.

I blew the driveway. The leaves were damp. Made the job a lot harder.

When the leaves are too much, I rake the heavy stuff and then blow what’s left.

The deck was also a challenge.

I installed iOS 26 last night. I like the look of it.

Got a new cover ordered for my Mac Air. The plastic protector cracks off eventually. Always the top piece.

Weather is turning cold next week.

Got Nana some new long johns for the winter.

I unpacked the bed frame for J’s bed. Organized into different types or pieces.

Washed my bedding. I still need to do my comforter.

Peppermint lip balm came in for K.

I thumb tacked the piece of paper back to the ceiling. I think a rodent might have pushed it down. Bahd luck.

I took my Mom to LT for lunch then to get her hair washed and dried. We talked about eating Mexican food at Mirando City near Laredo.

Vacuumed the house then cleaned the vacuum. Getting the hair out of the roller is always a challenge.

After the roller is cleaned, I put it all back together. The dust container and filter have to dry out over night.

I’m learning the new operating system. Some things are’t that intuitive. Like how do I edit a photo? The option for rotate is now somewhere else.

I created a file on Drive for Whirlwind Teams 2026. The year is almost up!

Spent about two hours getting health insurance for next year. HIGHLY recommend the Deter family. Tim and his son Scott have been super helpful walking us through the health care process.

Got in touch with my buddy Jon Paul today. We’ll have lunch next week. He’s the treasurer of Whirlwind Missions. He’ll sign a few reimbursement checks for me.

Went to Walmart to pick up candy for the Fall Festival at Azalea.

Everly helped me throw candy.

Went to my office at FBC Doraville. Picked up my checks and processed them. Drove to the bank to deposit them.

Ordered some new ear buds and extenders.

Took Nana to the eye doctor today. Penelope and Everly came with us. We had a good time. They were very patient at the doctor’s appointment.

Lots of tests. Some deterioration in the vision of one eye. I’m sure the treatment will help that eye too.

I’ve enjoyed this show.

I watched the last of Wednesday last night. Jenna Ortega is great in that.

I’m a weekend warrior. Although, now my goal is to ride 30 minutes/day. Or 5 out of 7 days. I’ve been doing about three hours a week for years.

Beautiful weather.

I came in first place last week as I predicted. I’ll have the same result this week as well. Everyone makes about the same amount every week for the most part. If all the other thirty students average about 3,000 and I’m regularly getting 15,000, it’s not hard to predict what will happen. The real fun is when there are a number of people that are within 1,000 of each other. That’s when everyone tries extra hard, because it’s close. And then again, I’ve been in the top three over 150 times. No big deal for me.

Jessi and I went over the options for the bed. We decided on the 20″ model. That will make it great for her to put her storage items.

I took the 6″ bed frame to UPS. I have to pay for shipping back to the retailer. Around $20.

Helped the kids at the Mission. The time change makes it harder for ministry. Suddenly it’s getting dark and it’s cold.. Kathy and I don’t like driving at night.

Worked on filling out the Beneficiary form, signed and emailed to Guidestone.
