Tried to explain how notifications on the iPhone work to K. I’m not sure I really understand it tbh.
I’m still working out how many teams the two groups will support. Looks like one each.
J helped me figure out how the kids could tell their drinks apart. Stickers are a great idea.

It was so hot today. With the humidity in the full sun, my guess was at least 110º.
We used to go to this mall all the time. Not sure what will happen to it. I know during the No Kings rally they made a big deal about not letting any protesters park there. I’m sure that made a lot of people want to avoid that mall. Sure did for me.
As the weather heats up, I need to change the hummingbird feeders every week, otherwise the solution can sour. I clean the bottles with a stick to get the mildew off. I mix up a 1/4 mixture of sugar to water, fill and put them up! I do four feeders in my yard.
Prepped my bike to ride. Cleaned the frame and pumped up the tires. I’m getting more Armorall to keep the rubber fresh, at least that’s what I hope it does. I got more today. I realized I should do the whole tire not just the sides.
I pick up rope and strapping things when I find them.
Don Cheto while I rode.
It was one of the hardest rides I’ve done because of the extreme heat.
I had the girls do some school work. They were less than enthusiastic, but they do it.
I took the Honda to get the emissions test done. Passed! I filled out the forms, sent in a check and got the envelope in the mail.
Went by my office to check the mail. I brought the girls with me to save Ash and Miles a trip to my house.
Listened to Don Cheto on the way home.
I’m trying to renew my drivers license on line. It’s not easy. I had to attach the Vision Test form as a PDF which was even harder. I got it all submitted. We’ll see if it all worked. This is why I start on this stuff as early as possible.
I sent two emails to the team leaders coming to town in about ten days. One was in regard to if the groups could split up into two teams each and the other was about the food order.
Keep going.

When J and I were working on K’s new iPhone, we got messages that an original Apple screen wasn’t used. I did research on that. Seems to look just fine.
Still some unanswered questions for the last team. I’m letting the partner who sent them to me deal with it.
Talked with the Pastor as well.

Ashley’s is working on my vision test documentation. I need it to get my new driver’s license.
A big part of my day was spent getting K’s new iPhone 14 Pro Max working properly. It still needs a few tweaks but I have everything working. I transferred her old iPhone information and apps to her new iPhone.
Each piece of the process might take thirty minutes to complete.
Fun to see Everly and Nana playing together. Everly has a store.
I was hoping to see the Mandalorian movie, but it’s not showing near me any more. I may wait and rent it.
Vocabulario.
Took the grandgirls out for Chinese.
Huge thunderstorm with intense rain as we were coming home.
Picked up groceries.
Went to UPS to drop off a package to Amazon for my Mom.
Don Cheto.
Keep going.

We are trying to figure out the best bedding for Nana such as just a sheet during the Summer months.
Started a return for Nana. I took a picture of the QR code so I can use it at UPS.
Listened to Don Cheto on the way to record Verbal Surgery.
The Summer break has started now that Penelope and Everly are with me. Yippee! We’ll be checking out Stone Mountain for sure.
Recorded and released “No Idea.” Good one!
Started the process of getting K’s phone transferred to her new iPhone 14 Pro Max. It gave me an error message about not being able to restore the back up. Not sure that means.
My cousin Brandon has a cool website. Proud of him!
We decided to try putting up the bed in J’s old office. Seems to fit!
Ash and Miles brought be back a gift. Supa coo.
These are some things I bought on my trip: Hedgehogs, flamingoes and cardinals. Works for me!

I called J’s former psychiatrist. She’s moved to Savannah, but does Telehealth sessions. Hope to set up something with her for J.
I had my eyes tested recently. Ashley will help me get the certification for me from her office. Then I should be able to apply for my new DL.

Did nine days worth of laundry. That’s very unusual for me. I rarely go more than a week.
I put all the stuff on my couch back into my car. I definitely missed a few things from this stuff when we were in Clayton.
Confirmed an appointment for Nana.
I listened to Don Cheto while I played Battlefield II.
Miles was talking about Darwin from a book he’d just read. I had some pictures of him and Huxley from the British Museum of Natural History. It’s one of my favorite museums in the world.
GREAT to have pictures from the girls, Ash and Miles! They’ve been on vacation at the beach, while we headed to the mountains!

When I leave a hotel room, I always do the same thing. I wipe down every surface, put all the towels in the bathtub, go through all the drawers, check behind and under the beds and throw all the trash away into the big garbage cans near the rooms. That procedure came from the Grey Man series. He was a man who worked for the CIA. He cleaned any chance of fingerprints or DNA left behind. I think it’s fun to practice that skill.
Stopped at a QT outside of Clayton to fill up and check the oil.
K and I ate at Donnies on the way home. We ran into some bad traffic on the way home on 85. Welcome to the ATL.
Took me about an hour to get everything unloaded and put away properly.
