Great time with my buddy Jon. I was sorry to hear his dog Bella had died. She was one of my favorites.

Voted and put the absentee votes for J, K and Nana in the lock box.

Called Rotech about the problem we’re having with K’s mobile concentrator.

Trying to keep these things going.

Called Xfinity/Comcast to have their techs check the line. They said they’ve had work in our area but should be better than ever soon.

Talked with Josh Nichols about the number on his team he was bringing, lunches and the Sunday at FBC Doraville.

I wanted to get a confirmation about J’s taxes.

Another day, a few more neurons wired.

K and I are going to get away for a few days while the grandgirls are at the beach with their folks. Did some research on Tybee Island, Clayton and Chattanooga. Not sure where we’ll go yet.

I’m thinking about having a little store for the kids at the Mission for PE to manage. Lots of opportunities to do math and business and marketing. Figuring out how many in a box, how much for each one when we buy in bulk, what’s a good price . . . all that stuff.

I’ll be part of the program on Pentecost Sunday at FBC Doraville. My team will be with me too.

I first started getting this AARP offer stuff over a decade ago. Then I felt a little offended. Now, seems reasonable.

Did my laundry.

Part of my ceiling cover came loose. I stapled it back in place.

I filled out the absentee voter documents for K, J and Nana. I plan on voting after I eat lunch with Jon tomorrow.

Vacuumed the house. Cleaned up around K’s chair. I fell a few days ago and knocked over a lot of her stuff. I clean the vacuum every time I use it. Keeps it working great.

Worked on setting up the Mission for several hours today. Got the Nintendo 64 hooked up and playing.

Gigantic amount of stuff to go through, throw away, donate or give to the kids.

I help coordinate Nana’s PT schedule.

Took Mom to her doctor’s appointment at Georgia Retina.

Still planning for the team coming in two weeks.

Went to the Mission to organize and keep cleaning things out. Making progress. The kids had fun. I gave a lot of stuff away.

This thermostat seems to run the fan from time to time. Weird. I let the Manager know about it.

We went to help the kids at the Mission. While we were there, one of the boys told me that the guys that had been living at the Mission had moved out. AMEN! So I sent the manager a message.

So I immediately went in and checked to make sure no one was there. They’d gone! So I started organizing the closet to get my place running again.

The guys had left some stuff.

I told the manager I hardly ever use the AC.

I made a pile of stuff to throw away.

Picked up groceries on the way home.

Trying to figure out the Democratic ballot.

I’ll be in the top three this week.

Went by Goodwill to check on hats. Didn’t find any that I liked.

Went to the bank to deposit money.

Got gas and checked the oil.

Went to Walmart to get some goodies for my Mom and Kathy as well as some medicine for K. Got a new orchid for me . . . I mean my Mom!

Always great to hear from my mentor Fred Sorrells.

Produced and released my podcast and posted on Facebook.

I’ll come in second place this week.

Worked on my Financial Report today. That includes making a copy of my mileage for March and April and for the Xfinity bill for those months, cutting checks and getting the report ready for my Treasurer.

I hurt my back. K came down to help me with it.

The squirrels got to one of my windows feeders. I took it down and cleaned the glass.

Helped J fill out a set of files, copied and email them to her new psychiatrist.

Picked up checks at my office.

Met the girls on the bus and took them to Ponko chicken along with J and K.

I usually take the girls outside and let them do something athletic. I’m into balance and strength training. And dancing!

Helped the kids at the Mission. I spent most of my time teaching Ian English.

Beautiful day with heavy weather coming in. We got some sprinkles on the way home with heavy storms all around us.

Fires are still going in S. Georgia.

Checked calendar for when teams are coming.

On the way to work, the low tire pressure light came on. I checked the air pressure for all the tires. Three were at 41 psi and one was at 20 psi. I used my compressor to pump it back up to 41 psi.

There was a nail in the tire. The back two tires were pretty smooth. I got two brand new Firestones.

I thought $200 for two tires including the disposal was reasonable. It’s a premium car.

Helped the kids at the Mission. I’ve been teaching a 5 year old English. He’s a total beginner. “Hello, my name is Ian. What’s your name?”

Watered my downstairs plants.

Trimmed the dead matter from the two of my nepenthes plants. Supported them with tan yarn. Looks a lot better spread out and supported. I trimmed one of their flowers off and put it outside. It has a really weird odor.

Set up my new weather station. The display on my old one stopped working.
