I discovered a plant in Jessi’s office that I hadn’t been watering. Can you see how the extreme light was turning it red?I made sure to give her a thorough drenching today. And not such direct light.

K and I took the girls to Cheeseburger Bobby’s.

I always get P to do some art for me.

They really enjoyed their sundaes! P got Reeses and E got Oreo.

Went to Azalea to help the kids.

Got gas and checked the oil on the way home.

Kathy is getting her new iPhone 15 Plus on line soon. I ordered more USBC to USBA cords. I got 4 x 3ft, 2 x 6ft & 1 x 10ft. I’m just glad the EU forced iPhone to go with USBC. That’s what most other devices use. So these cables work with our phones as well as the grandgirl’s phones and tablets.

Got some gum for J. It’s the little things.

More comfortable today.

I was up to date on yard and housework so I rode my bike. I have a lot of hills on my route.

Went to Stone Mountain to record Verbal Surgery “Stack.” It’s a good one. I listened to all of this one.

I’ll probably come in second place this week.

Ever since I discovered this odd set of carvings on Stone Mountain, I’ve been trying to find out who wrote them and when. Yesterday, as I was looking at videos on ancient carvings in India, they had pictures of their writing, which I thought looked a lot like what I had found on Stone Mountain.

Don Cheto! Vocabulario! Came in second place this week. Normally, the weeks run Monday through Sunday. Last week it ended on Friday. This week it ended today. Not sure what Duolingo is up to.

K spilled some ginger ale in the kitchen. Cleaned it up.

Recently, I learned that hummingbirds eat small flies as a significant part of their diet. I’m putting out some fruit to see if they’ll go for fruit flies. My guess is they will. I found the plastic rose buried nearby. I cleaned it up and put it by the banana. I thought that red color would attract them. They like yellow too. I saw a hummingbird snatch a tiny fly out of the air right in front of me recently. The light has to be just right to see something like that.

I watched a documentary on common symbols in ice age man cave art in Europe.. I always compare stuff like that to the mysterious carvings on Stone Mountain.

Confirmed a dentist appointment.

K and I picked Penelope from the bus. Everly was at Flaggette training.

We went to Ponko Chicken.

Went to Huntley Hills to watch a little bit of Flagette practice and pick up Everly.

Went to the Dollar Tree to get four sets of sunglasses. I like to have spares because they get scratched pretty easily.

Post Office to get stamps for the newsletter.

Someone bought the property next to the entrance to our subdivision. Looks kind of bare there now.

Refurbished the headlights on K’s car. Four separate grinding and buffing procedures. Came out looking great.

I taped all around the lights to protect the paint. Tearing it off was way more fun.

I did all the work in the garage to stay out of the sun. It was kind of dark. I was glad I had a headlamp.

I cleaned off my drill before putting it up. It got splattered while cleaning the head lights.

Cleaned the hood and windshield in K’s car.

Looks new.

Blew the driveway and porch.

Blew the deck.

Mixed up some fertilizer for the outside plants.

I gave each of the banana plants two gallons. Doubt I’ll do that for the indoor plants because of the smell.

I worked on the car at least thirty minutes before I started this timing. That grinding was hard.

Busy with appointments.

Took Mom to her foot doctor today to do her toenails and clean off the old toenail that had fungus. He gave us some ideas for shoes. She wears shoes maybe two hours a week, so I doubt we’ll get new ones.

We also went to Regions bank to cash in a CD and put it into the Money Market account. She had to sign a paper to do that.

I like Eric Barker’s blog. Today’s was on happiness.

Emailed Bill and Sandy about a question with the EIN number for the ministry.

Hot and sweaty.

Picked up so many sticks. I spent over an hour yesterday stacking them. Today, I mainly hauled the stacks to my recycling area.

Cleaned and organized my St. Francis shrine.

Saw a couple of sprigs of poison ivy. I dug up all I saw. I used NuTech on my skin when I showered, just in case I came in contact with it.

Sticks, sticks and more sticks.

I found one of my tree guy’s ropes in my yard. I coiled it up and put it on my sofa at the front of my house. Took pictures to show him where it was.

I also dug up a bunch of plants that I didn’t want growing in my yard.

It was a big and physically hard job.
