Talked with the Tucker Rehab administration for my Mom.
OYB!
Talked to Cincinnati Insurance about paying off the house note. I’ll be paying for home insurance directly rather than going into escrow as part of my mortgage.
My Mom moved out of Piedmont Hospital this morning. She’s over to Tucker Rehab now.
Talked with the team leader for Cottage Hill BC. They are deciding which two Safaris they want to go on.
Español!
I just figured out that I’ll need two full sheets of 4×6 plywood to cover Nana’s bed. I’ve got a Skill saw to cut them into shape.
The azaleas are so beautiful.
Picked up the girls at the Mission.
K and I took the girls to the Buford Highway Farmers Market.
Helped the kids. Not much homework.
Went to Tucker Rehab to check on Nana. She seems to be settling in well. Amen.
Listened to Don Cheto while I drove back and forth from Piedmont Hospital.
Mama seemed to be doing better. She didn’t sleep well last night. She’s supposed to be transferring to the Tucker Rehab tomorrow around 11 AM.
I’ve had conversations with rehab centers.
Checked the oil and gassed up my car.
Did some yard work when I got home. Light weed whacking.
Looks nice now.
Blew and washed away pollen.
Fresh!
Take it out. Put it up.
I’m the appointment secretary. Primarily, because it’s my schedule everyone has to fit into.
Pollen wasn’t as bad today.
This mat caught my eye. The pollen helps add definition and depth.
I’d try these. You?
Everly trying not to step on a crack and break her father’s back.
Took the girls to Cici’s which is Penelope’s favorite.
This is BIG NEWS! We paid off our house! Wow. It still hasn’t completely sunk in.
I need to call my house insurance tomorrow to make sure that the home insurance will be paid every month. I’m still trying to figure out how much my taxes will be each year.I know how much I have been paying, so it shouldn’t be hard to figure out.
It’s all about long term, consistent effort. These leagues have definitely motivated me to keep going.

Went to Piedmont Hospital to visit my Mom. We had a good talk. She’ll be going into physical therapy until she can get around well enough to come back home. I believe that will be within a couple of weeks.
Beauty all around us.
This was on the ground near my car at the hospital. The color really popped in the sunlight.
Left voice mail with my buddy Don Howard. I set up a time to get together, and hours later I had to change it. I need to be at the lung doctor appointment for K that day.
My favorite thing about driving alone is listening to Don Cheto.
I enjoyed the No Kings rally. Beautiful weather and a cool vibe.
The path for the rally was too long. I led the way and got so far ahead I just walked back to my car. Here’s less than half of it.
I enjoyed some peaceful time at the 40 Oaks Park. I liked the mushroom garden illustrations.
The park has been there awhile.
Keep going.

I went to Piedmont Hospital this morning to take Nana her iPhone and iPad. She needed coms to keep in contact with us. Also brought her a few treats. She seemed to be feeling better. I had her call my brother Jim so he knew she could communicate.
Listened to Don Cheto while I drove.
Confirmed that I’m going to the No Kings rally tomorrow in Tucker.
Español!
Called the hospital about discharging my Mom. Not sure when that will be. I think she needs to go to a rehab facility for a while to make sure she can get around before coming home. None of us can really help her.
K and I went to Briggs Vision Group to have our eyes checked out.
My eyes tested at 20/20 and no sign of any macular degeneration or any other eye disease. That was good to know!
Deepstash!
I heard from my buddy Don Howard today. I’ll give him a call back tomorrow. We hope to get together soon.
Just keep going.

My Mom couldn’t move her right leg without extreme pain this morning.
I called 911 and the firemen came to check her out. Then they called EMS to transport her to Piedmont Eastside Hospital. I was there over eight hours. She’s in good hands!
Went to the Post Office to mail the newsletters.
Processed and deposited checks at the bank.
Pollen has been super bad.
I called my brother so Nana could talk to him.
Called my buddy Don Howard. I was supposed to hang out with him tomorrow. Can’t because of this medical situation. I have a eye doctor appointment tomorrow as well.
Listened to Don Cheto.
Deepstash!
Keep going.

I sent a note to the manager of Azalea Place Apartments about the teams we’ve had the last two weeks.
The pollen has been intense. Everything is covered with yellow dust.
Dogwoods are blooming! Easter is close!
I wrote and produced my newsletter.
I sent pictures of Rapha and Miguel today from 2001!
The girls and I ate lunch and then went to FBC Doraville to make copies of the newsletters. I had a nice visit with Pastor Bill. He showed me how the photocopy machine worked.
Went to the Post Office to get stamps. .78c per stamp seems pretty high!
Folded the newsletters. The girls enjoyed reading the story from this month. Most of the kids at school are taking tests now so very little homework.
Listened to Don Cheto on the way home.
Deepstash!
Wrote a recommendation for Bill Cordrey’s new book. He’s a great guy and president of our Board.
Don’t stop.

I got my Mom’s dental/eye insurance activated again. It was cancelled due to her checking account getting hacked and having to start a new account.
I wrote a check to Pastor Bill for utilities for last week in the Fellowship Hall. They decided not to accept the money.
Glorious flowers!
Sent flower pictures to family and friends of my Mom in Texas.
Did my laundry
Set up an eye doctor’s appointment for my Mom in May.
Worst clock ever. Everly actually was able to tell me the time!
CT results for K came in. We decide to wait and let the doctor explain what’s going on.
K and I helped the kids at the Mission.
Everly has been a good helper!
While we were there, one of my original youth group from thirty years ago came by to see me! Miguel has been like a son to me. What a delight to see him again!
Never too much Ashley!
I got in contact with Rapha, Miguel’s brother as well.
We went with another company for K’s oxygen. I let him know.
Push.

Good talk with Tyler Thomas who is the Youth Director for FBC Canton. He’ll be bringing a team mid July.
Rotech came by this morning to set up oxygen for K’s CPAP. She’ll be getting a portable set up soon.
I take notes and set up a new contact with the info.
Came in fifth place last week.
Did Nana’s laundry.
Hooked up my water hose. I had the faucet cover to protect it from freezing. I have a hole in one of my hoses. I need to take it to Lowes to get a new one.
Picked up a bunch of sticks and some big logs that had fallen because of the storms we’ve had recently.
Set up an appointment with K’s lung doctor.
Signed up to go to the No Kings Rally this weekend.
The azaleas are so beautiful!
K and I picked up the girls and took them to Pho 24. Then to Azalea to help the kids with their homework. Not too much to do. Second graders are testing. Fourth graders just had a small packet.
Penelope striking a pose.
Gas on the way home.
Picked up groceries. Took a while to put them up. It was basically two weeks worth because I had a team last week and didn’t get around to picking them up.
I repaired a crack in one of my bird baths. I put some silicon dap on it.
Refilled my birdseed bag.
I saw some yellow jackets this morning near where I store my cart. This evening, I tried to spray them, but couldn’t see where their hole was. I saturated the area with bug spray. I’ll keep my eyes out for them. They’re no joke! I’ve been stung many times. I had hornet spray too.
Just keep going.

Beautiful weather
I’ll take my Mom to the eye doctor on Tuesday. I have an appointment to have an eye exam on Friday.
I cleaned my hummingbird feeders yesterday with a light bleach solution. Rinsed them out and refilled them with sugar water.
Put up my hummingbird feeder pole near where I sit in the mornings and hung them up around my house.
Ordered feeders for J’s window.
Went to Goodwill to look for hats. Didn’t find any that I liked. Can’t find if you don’t look!
Beautiful wisteria on the way to Stone Mountain to record Verbal Surgery. They’re shooting a movie where I normally record. Found another place that worked.
Watered my indoor downstairs plants.
I like this.
Indeed.
Keep going.
Recorded and released Verbal Surgery “I Sight.” Excellent!
