Grandgirls! Stone Mountain! Train/Movie/Dinos! 12.26.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:14 pm

Four years ago Christmas Day, Daddy died. This is the scripture from that day in the One Year Bible I read from every morning. It’s from Psalms 144:4.

I’ve enjoyed the Clone Wars animated series. I watched all of Star Wars Rebels which I loved. I didn’t know where the name Snips had come from.

Seem to be sleeping well. Honestly, I can’t tell that big a difference in how I feel unless I get under five hours.

I must have unsubscribed to this list at least ten times. Makes me pissy towards Walgreens.

Cold day, JACK!

Coldest it’s ever gotten in my room.

Believe me. That’s chilly. Seeing that it’s supposed to stay cold for a while, I plugged in the heater.

Global Mall exactly at 8:00 am.

Nice chat with my buddy Anthony while I waited in the cold for the girls.

Beautiful, clear day. But brisk.

My water bottle froze.

We took our temperatures at a station at Global Mall. We were all perfect.

LOVE my girls!

Work a lot?

Listening to music as were driving to my house.

I turned it down at one point and Penelope yells, “Hey! What’s going on? Turn it up!” Rock on, child, rock on.
Global Mall just has such visual depth. We had fun with the Christmas tree.

Tiny icicle outside Global Mall.

I rode it with them today.

Studied Spanish.

I always enjoy shooting ice and running water. The girls and I looked at it together. Beautiful.

I liked the bubbles.

We have what I call “Super Tickets” because we can ride any ride all year long. The girls and I had a fantastic time. We rode the train first.

Next? Funnel Cakes with Fried Oreos.

Christmas Dinos.

The girls had never been to a movie before. Wow. Their first one was in 4D! The movie was a 13 minute adaptation of the Polar Express.

The chairs buzzed and you felt puffs of air along with snow! And 3D of course.

The kids absolutely loved it!

As we were leaving, I realized that I was missing on of my Isotoner gloves. I went in and tried to find it, to no avail. But I was not to be defeated!
The girls were quite patient as I explained to the staff that I had lost a glove and needed to go find it. We waited for the movie to finish and then they helped me find it. Amen!

We got pizza on the way home, cheese and a cheese and pepperoni.

None of us ate too much. I think we were still full of funnel cakes and Oreos.
Great to see Ashley. I believe I’ll have the girls again on Tuesday.

Restful evening.
