Penelope! Tybee!
I had fun watching Penelope! I taught her the controller for the PS4.
It was quite an adventure getting to the Island. We took an alternate route but somehow Google kept sending me down these African bush roads.
I just kept following what the computer said to do. Ay caramba.
And giving us time to arrive like 2 days later!
We finally got there around 9pm. Moon was beautiful on the water.
K and I had a great time at Tybee Island. The weather was perfect. Never know what you’ll see.
Kathy had her birthday while she was at the beach. She had a great time, too.
I visited my grave site. Lots of people had been there and left a stone.
I put them in a pattern.
The bracelet says, “Amor.” I’ll be right below these two gigantic oaks that have grown to make one shape.
I’m near the angel and Gracie.
I always clear the lot and pick all the weeds before I leave.
Bonaventure is so beautiful.
I was fascinated by the life story of Johnny Mercer. A tour guide talked all about him. Did you know he invented Tony the Tiger and Bozo the Clown? What?!
I love my bike. It’s the best I’ve ever had.
I park my car and take my bike and ride up and down the streets of the Savannah taking pictures and enjoying the view.
Stopping to visit St. John the Baptist Cathedral is a must do. Love it!
Never noticed the cross wrought iron before.
Stained glass is so wonderful.
I light a couple of candles for the Cummins and Kendall families. I give money to help the upkeep of St. Johns: my favorite in the whole world.
Always stop here for pralines and turtles.
I love the egg and bacon cheeseburgers at Wet Willies. The art there is super cool.
Most of these walls are from the ballast from the British ships.
I was ordained in this church, known as the Jingle Bell Church. The guy who wrote that song, preached there. It was the Savannah Baptist Center. Now it’s a Unity church.
Had fun with bubbles! I carry my Bubble Bucket on my bike handlebars.
Tybee Island is always beautiful.
I got a cutting from this plant. Hope I can get it to sprout.
I’ve never seen a cactus this color.
I’d never seen it bloom.
Hiked up the Tybee Lighthouse. 178 steps.
I love the view from the top. There’s a window ledge you can sit on like a bench. It’s my favorite seat anywhere.
Fascinating.
I always visit the Tybean Coffee and Art bar.
Tybee Island in the 10/40 window.
I saw this family of geese at BevRicks where we eat on the way home to the ATL.
Great food.
Huh.
