Español! I did a lot of exercises while exercising. It’s kind of my new thing to walk while I’m studying.

I called the Ear, Nose and Throat doctor’s office today. Left a message with the lady who is in charge of scheduling J’s surgery for the deviated septum repair.

Sewed another hole in my map jacket. I really need to collect all of my jackets and do a systematic repair and evaluation of them. My guess is I have around seven of them. I bought a new one every year for over twenty years. Many of the old ones I gave away to friends around the world and to one rock star.

Took J to the laser hair removal place.

Had a good talk with my Mom. Glad J was in on it.

I walked 1.02 miles while I was studying Spanish in my neighborhood. Later. I went to Stone Mountain and also studied for about forty-five minutes.

I’ve watched this tire go slowly flat over the last few weeks. It’s parked on the road where I walk.

Refilled water bottles.

Vacuumed the living room.

Cleaned all the internal parts and dried them out. Put it all back together this evening when I got home.

Cloudy and some rain. Actually, poured down rain in Chamblee for about twenty minutes.

I enjoyed my walk at Stone Mountain.

Refilled my gallon jugs of tap water. I use them to water the orchids and to clean out the dog water bowl that the raccoons use. I dump out the old water every couple of days and just refill it. The bowl holds one gallon. Way easier than using the hose.

Refilled bird seed.

Listened to Harry Potter and to radio from Madrid.

Whenever it’s foggy like this I always think that Stone Mountain looks like Mount Olympus.

I can see the dinosaurs from my walk.

I enjoyed eating my veggie burger at the German Bakery and got a Bear Claw for dessert. Super good.

I like the stained glass there.

I look like I have old man’s hands.

The apartments continue to go up across the street from Azalea Place. The guys were singing super loud over there yesterday. It was pretty funny.

Heavy band of weather blew through Chamblee while I was working with the kids.

I studied how many lessons I needed to do in order to trigger this award. I walked 1.83 miles while doing them.

Helped the kids with their homework.

Cat hangs out near our apartment. Always wants to sneak in. I named him Copy. As in Copy Cat.

Turned the library books in that the girls checked out a couple of weeks ago.

Two really good learners in this week’s league. Besides me!

It’s Election Day so the kids had off from school to do on-line learning. Arrived in Doraville around 7:15 AM so I could study.

The girls worked on their homework for about thirty minutes before we piled in the car and headed back to Stone Mountain.

We got back to my house and I sat in with Jessi for her initial appointment with her new psychiatrist. I thought she seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. We had kind of a hard time getting the technology to work right at the beginning of the appointment.

I got my end of the year review from Duolingo tonight. I’ve never seen them do that before. “World Champion” has a nice ring to it.

I met up with my buddy and Treasurer for Whirlwind Missions today for lunch. The grandgirls also came along although they were still full from a late breakfast.

Helped the kids with their homework. We finished up Penelope’s assignments. She’s very bright. It was very foggy. Extremely damp. The paper started feeling weird from the water in the air.

So foggy! Living in the clouds, baby.

It’s been a while since I’ve had people that work harder than me. I usually aim for 10,000 points of work a week. Sometimes that creams everyone. Others it’s just not enough. I don’t usually put in more than that amount.

The blue globe indicates the top .1%. Certainly helps you gauge how hard the competition is. You have to be able to answer a lot of questions correctly rapidly and do it consistently day after day. But man, does it pay off. My abilities in Español have skyrocketed.

Listened to radio from Madrid. It’s so fast.

Went by my office to check the mail. Processed the checks. Went to the bank on the way home to deposit them.

A lot of early voting!

Anthony sent me 1,135 photos. I made Keynote slide shows for 335, 300, 200, 100 and 50 slide versions. Took several hours. It was fun.

I’m watching a show called Peripheral. Cool music.

I’ve been watching a lot of videos about Messi and Reynaldo.

Rained all day. Miles called me to let me know he’d be there to pick up the girls. That was good because I had a headache most of the day.

K and I ate Mexican food today. This food truck was in the parking lot. No idea what they serve.

I’ll pick up the girls at 8am at Azalea. Bring them to my house for the doctor appointment with J and lunch with Jon, then take them back to Azalea. I’ll help the kids with their homework.

I’m creating a Keynote presentation for him of the best of the images.

We’ve had some major car repairs this year. I’m asking some churches is they could pitch in to help a bit with those costs.

Had a great talk with Anthony. We went on Zoom and did file sharing of the art he’s working on now.

J and I voted today. It was a big line but still only took about 25 minutes. There was only one item to vote on so that made it faster.

K came with me to Chamblee. Helped the kids at the mission. I was there till way after dark. Finally left because K was with me and needed to get home.

One of the things I like about working outside is shooting sunsets.

My Mom had a fall a couple of weeks ago and hurt her head. We decided to postpone her Christmas trip until February. We worked on it last night and because it was Cyber Monday we ended up saving another $80. Amen!

I posted about Jessi’s condition on my Facebook page. We’ve had several people contact me about helping her. Amen. Certainly can’t hurt!

Español! I’ve started walking while I’m studying. Doing about a 1.2 miles.

I’m still involved with a law suit concerning a friend of mine in London who got hurt at the hotel where the conference I was speaking at.

Talked with my buddy Marcus this morning in England. He and his wife just had their baby boy! Great to see new families!

Went to Walmart to get a prescription filled for Jessi. It’ll be ready by Friday, they had to order it.

Deposited checks at the bank.

Listened to radio from Spain and Harry Potter in Spanish.

Did research about ending LTI, Jessi’s start up. Basically, they lawyers on line said if we don’t owe any money and didn’t make any money we can just walk away and that’s enough. No government entity is going to track down a little company that isn’t making any money.

I set up charging stations for the girl’s tablets. Glad to see they’re being used! Makes me very proud of them. Charging your tech is a great skill to learn!

Worked with the kids at the mission. Big group but they’re so camera shy.

Sewed the elbow area of one of my map jackets. I only realized recently that they looked pretty good when you sew them up.

Had a good talk with my Mom. She had a bad fall recently. We decided it was better for her to heal up before making a trip. Love her!

Went to the Post Office. Their stamp printer was messed up. It printed out all the stamps as singles. They worked.

I went by to check out the early voting lines. They were very long . . . which is usually good for Democrats. I wrote a note to remind me to keep checking.

Got the mail at my office at FBCD. Dropped off the newsletter to be printed.

Processed the checks and deposited them at the bank.

I’m also going to help my Mom figure out her phone.

I gave Penelope her birthday card from Nana.

We went to Walmart to spend her $9. (I put the money back when I got home. She had so much fun with all those $1 bills!). She got a mold to make a unicorn. We had fun mixing it up.
