Warmer day.

Rode my bike 9.09 miles. It was pretty hot on the bike in the full sun. Very humid.

Uploaded a new episode of Verbal Surgery called, “The Map and the Journey 2.” So good!

I studied how to better use my iPhone. I liked all the pictures from 2022 in one shot.

The Photos app can also sort things via the map. Cool.

I bought a wi-fi extender to try and get a better range from the apartment to the kids outside.

This was my first Friday off in over two years. Miles is starting to come home early on Fridays to pick up the girls. I’ll be starting on Monday-Thursday next week. Better for the kids at the mission. Spent most of the afternoon watching shows and resting.

I think this is a very helpful idea.

Went to my office to check the mail. Processed the checks to get them ready to deposit. Got them in the bank.

Everly did some painting at school. Love it!

Always enjoy hanging out with my girls.

Had a bunch of kids at our after school program. Gets kind of wild. Lots of boys and girls chasing each other. To be expected I reckon.

Took out the trash. Forgot to do it last night.

I took a timed test on Duolingo. I did sixteen exercises in the fifteen minutes allotted. That equals 640 points!

Took Jessi to the ENT doctor this morning. Turned out that she has a deviated septum which is what makes it difficult for her to breath. Next stop will be a scan of the area to see just how bad it is and then perhaps surgery to correct the problem.

Had a good chat with my buddy Anthony in England while I was waiting for the doctor to work with J.

Listened to Radio Garden’s broadcast of Cadena Ser in Spanish from Madrid.

Mild today. Some sprinkles at the mission.

Everly has a flat on her bike. My bike guy told me that the tire is pretty worn out which means the tubes go flat pretty quickly. Hard to fix the back one, can’t say I’m looking forward to that. Ordered a new tube from Amazon.

Went to my office to check the mail.

Got gas from the BP station on my way home. Cheapest I’ve seen! Checked levels.

Got a call from my banker. She thinks that the auto debit is set up properly this month. We’ll see. . .

Spent about an hour working on an issue with my credit card and a charge that was made when I was reserving a room in Tennessee. Eventually, just wrote everything out in a letter with documentation and sent it to them.

Contacted our waste disposal folks to get the old TV.

Went by the office to check the mail.

Kathy came with me today. We picked up the girls at the bus stop and enjoyed time with them today. Penelope won “Tiger of the Month!”

Everly and I figured out how many days until she turns five! Thirty four!

Great to see two brothers today! One showed me his new wife from Bangladesh, the other his little girl that’s almost two! Incredible how time flies.

Always good to spend some time with Ashley!

Helped the kids with their homework. There was a lot and it was hard. I spoke in Spanish most of the time.

Went to Tucker Family Dental this morning to get my permanent crown put on.

Had a good talk with my Mom. I always enjoy that!

Went for a 7.91 mile bike ride. Pushed myself pretty hard. Still getting back in shape.

My buddy Ian has a bad problem with poison ivy. None of the cures work. At least Tech Nu will keep it away the next time.

Ordered groceries.

Made a request for a pickup of the old tv.

Cleaned up my bike and pumped up the tires to 60 psi.

Had a nice ride although my bike chain came off a couple of times. I have to make sure I don’t put the bike in too high a gear.

Today was the first day I’ve been without my red thread in over seven years. It came off when Everly grabbed and pulled it by mistake. I wasn’t upset. I knew it was getting thin and assumed I wouldn’t be able to find it. At least I have it!

Helped K get some compression socks.

Enjoyed watching Guardians of the Galaxy this afternoon.

Got a notice from a friend of mine and Apple that there are some security issues that Apple is facing and installed an update.

I will be on this rocket virtually! My name is on a USB Drive on it.

Took Jessi to her laser hair appointment.

I studied Spanish as well as organized my trunk. Took things to Ashley’s house as well as bringing the swimming things back to my house. Soon it will be time for the “winter store” in the back of my car. It’s not nearly as necessary any more since the girls don’t stay with me very much now.

Defrosted my fridge.

Went by my office to water my ficus and check the mail.

Poured down rain at Azalea.

Picked the girls up at the bus.

Fed the girls.

Miles got home pretty early. Went on home since we had finished all the homework for the week and everything was wet.

Listened to Cadena Ser radio from Madrid on the way home.

Took all the stuff from my trunk into my house. Also took off the bike rack. No real reason to have that on since the girls are in school and I ride around near why house.

I got my credit card bill and saw that the reservation I had made to Days Inn in Chattanooga had not been reimbursed. Called the reservation company, the hotel and Expedia. I’ll call tomorrow morning to talk with the manager at the hotel. If that doesn’t work, I’ll get in touch with my Credit Card people.

The used tire I got a couple of days ago didn’t work well. Went back to get a brand new one. Most of the used ones I’ve gotten have been fine.

Helped the kids with their homework. Part of it was doing prime factorization. I got a list of the prime numbers to 100 to help with that.
