Got to the mission early so I could write Thank You letters. I’m not sure why I resisted writing these little notes. So easy.
I had a long piece of bubble wrap for the girls to jump on.
Penelope forgot some homework at school so we took a quick ride by Huntley Hills to pick it up. She enjoyed showing me her classroom.
We went to Waffle House for lunch/dinner.
Helped the kids with their homework. Tomorrow is a “digital day” which means they get extra homework to do. I decided I’d rather the girls spend the night with me than have to rush over there super early in the morning.
Beautiful clouds. I like the color transition.
Fixed the girls a pallet in the living room for the girls. Something different. Jesus watching over them.
Put the labels on the Thank You notes I wrote today. Put them in the mail box.

Did some research and ordered a new spray bottle for bleach for my bathtub area.
I changed the time on the clocks in the house. This one doesn’t seem to be working too well.
We had our first brush with freezing weather. So far my banana plants look just fine.
I put my carnivorous plants outside in their winter box. I bring them in when it gets below freezing. This helps with their dormancy period.
I get my pizza from Little Caesar’s. They are all in on the latests Modern Warfare video game. Wow.
I put my new Stone Mountain sticker on.
I enjoy these guys. !!! is a pretty funny name for a band.
Did some work on the Donation November 2023 list.
I finished uploading the pictures I took of the team. Also edited the video I shot and got it onto YouTube. Sent an email to Andrew to say “Thanks” and give the links from the weekend.
Had a great time with my team from Roopville Road BC today! We had fun exploring the Buford Highway Farmer’s Market and then working with the kids at Azalea Place Apartments.

Cleaned my hummingbird feeders. I really thought they had gone South, but something seems to be drinking it.
Repaired a crack (I hope!) in one of my birdbaths.
Refilled my other birdbaths.
Folded and stuffed the newsletters and added a stamp.
Pulling out of my driveway to put the letters in the mail the ball joint in my front will broke off. Huge CLUNK! Had to get it towed to Garmon which are my new car guys.
Walked to Young World to pick up Kathy’s truck. Gassed her truck up, mailed the newsletters.
I love the modern days SO much more because of this.
One of my very favorite Star Wars characters EVER! So glad Ezra is in the Ahsoka series.
Worked hard last week. Came in #3 out of 30.

Talked with my buddy, Anthony.
Walked 3.19 miles. Seventeen hills. This walking regime is so much harder than just walking around the neighborhood. Even going down is kind of hard.
Talked with my friend Andrew Toney. He’s bringing a team into town on Saturday. Looking forward to that!
Although I just realized I’ll miss Penelope’s last game. Bummer.
Returned shoes to Amazon for K. I ordered a couple of sizes larger plus wide mode. I also sent back a shirt I think we ordered by mistake.
Saw a voicemail I had with Ryan Hooper. He’s like my little brother from Kenya days. I enjoyed our conversation so much. GREAT to get in touch with family.
Picked up the girls at the bus. They got to talk with Ryan a bit. Went to Waffle House. Astonishing how much food Penelope can put down.
Took the shoes and shirt to UPS to get it in the mail. They have a station where you can scan the item in, put it in a bag and seal it with the label. UPS takes it straight to Amazon. The UPS people don’t even touch the packages. WAY better than standing in line just to hand the stuff to the guy behind the counter.
I took the newsletters over to FBC Doraville to let Renae make copies for us.
Went to the Post Office to get stamps. The self service kiosk was out of ink and couldn’t print. I went straight in, no line at all. Super rare. Told the mailman about the problem but went ahead and bought stamps.
Penelope is trying to help me find a Roblox name.
Helped the kids at the mission.
Two days down. Three to go. Seven years ago I never had to go in.
Listened to Don Cheto.
Checked the mail at my office.
Beautiful day. Started to get chilly with a lot of wind.
Got the groceries. I really wanted to get more cough drops, but somehow I didn’t get them on the order. I may have ordered them too late to pick up today.
