Called my buddy Jon Paul about a couple of issues.

Freshened up my shoes with a coat of paint. I haven’t worn my new shoes much. I’m still using second string shoes.

I’m working on the Thank You note project again. Went to the Post Office to get stamps. I already have the cards, envelopes and labels.

Went to the Dollar Tree and Walmart to pick up construction paper and white poster board for the kids at the Mission.

When I was getting out of my car this afternoon, my seat belt buckle hit my iPhone screen and cracked the protector. When I got home, I cleaned the phone up and put a new protector on it.

Brought home Thai food for the family.

While I was waiting for the food, I saw a juvenile Sharp Shinned Hawk.

Talked to the girls about taking them to the Reptile show on Saturday the 14th.

I had a good talk with my Mom this morning. We finally got the tix to Texas squared away for next month.

Picked up the girls at the bus and took them to Waffle House.

Picked up checks at my office. Processed them and deposited them at the bank on the way home.

The girls and I know this part of downtown Atlanta really well. We come down here regularly. This time it was special with lots of people dressed up as super heroes.

We had a good lunch. Everly picked out strawberry cheesecake for our dessert. It’s her birthday soon.

Lots of cool stuff to see, although we should have come on the weekend when even more people were there.

Cleaned the bird feeders. Looks like my hose is getting ready to burst. I have a lifetime guarantee on it.

Worked on my financial report. Mileage went up a bit.

I figured out how to use Google sheets to add up the monthly mileage. Way faster.

On Mondays, I research the previous scores of the people I’m competing with. Looks like if all goes as planned I’ll probably come in third place this week. My goal is to be in the top three every week if possible.

K was invited to a family party of Afghanis last night. They were celebrating the engagement of their eldest son. Great fun and a interesting get together.

I’ve been enjoying playing the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn which is Forbidden West. It’s a huge game.

K and I went to the Lazy River pool today. My arm is still bothering me, so I spent most of my time just floating around in the shallow end. After we were done, I went to the bathroom to dry off and put on my clothes and I slept and fell. I only sprained my big toe. Could have been really bad. Whoosh.

Still really hot.

I’m going to take the girls to Dragon Con on Monday. I think they’ll really get a kick out of all the costumes.

Also sewed some small holes in the lint catcher for the dryer.

Man, it was hot today. My car said it was 100 degrees.

Called Jon about a paycheck that Ashley was missing from the end of February.

Picked up my girls at the bus. I took Penelope to get Vietnamese food then we ate it at Taco Veloz where Everly and I wanted to go. This is becoming a regular thing these days. Two different locations. Hard to get everyone to match up. No big deal for me.

K and I went to Perimeter Mall for lunch. I also went to the Apple Store to pick up my Mac Air which needed a new display.

Great to hear from my buddy, Fred Sorrels. He’s in Paris working with the Niger team at the Paralympics.

K and I picked up the the girls and took them to Waffle House.

I had never seen the yellow wrench warning light in my Honda CR-V. Wasn’t sure what it meant. I called Garmon Auto who are my new car guys. They told me that it meant there was maintenance due, which is what I thought it was. Time for an oil change. I asked them if it would be good to do it on Friday, which they said it was. I’ll drop it off over there on Thursday evening.

I dropped K and the girls at their house and went on to the mission to work with the kids. There weren’t too many today, which is a blessing. I do my best work when I’m not completely overwhelmed.

I worked on getting the resolution on my Mac to look right with my TV. Took me a while. Not particularly easy.
