I refilled the feeders and suet for the birds.
I sent a note to my buddy Carl. He’s not feeling great, so we didn’t get to chat today.
Sent a note to my brother about my Mom’s house. She had a question about the Homestead Exemption tax for her house when we sell it.
I went through all my tax return, verified that everything was in there and took pictures of every page just in case the documents are lost. I plan to send it to my tax guys in Rome, GA by overnight express on Monday. I put all those pictures in a folder on my Mac.
K brought home pizza for us. We ate and I put the pizza away in ziplock bags into the different fridges.
Did laundry.
I’m helping J get a new psychiatrist. That involves figuring out her previous doctors and the hospitals she’s been in. More detective work on line, but I did it.
Chatted with J/K about the research I did for the hospitals and to try and figure out the online filing for her possible new doctor.
Keep going.

Took my Mom to get her hair washed and set.
Took K for her bone density test and mammogram.
I listened to Don Cheto while I waited.
Wasn’t sure about the word “naco.”
I set up K’s lung capacity test for next week. It’s in Duluth.
I hope to see this tomorrow night. Many times it turns out to be cloudy.
I’m glad my girl’s school isn’t closing. Huntley Hills is a great place! All the Mission kids also go there.
K and I went to the Patel Brothers complex after the hospital. I got some excellent burfee and samosas.
Worked on my taxes this evening. It was pretty hard. I have to keep track of my bills during the year for my minister’s housing allowance. That means going through all the bank states for the year. No fast way to do that accurately.
Because of my new study system, which is a lot harder, I don’t make quite as many points. That’s ok.

Did the mileage report for January and February. Wrote reimbursement checks.
Got gas and checked the oil in the Lincoln.
Did my laundry.
Worked on my taxes. Got the documents in order. Made copies of Drivers Licenses. Included a void check. I’ll work on the Housing Allowance report tomorrow. I got the file ready to fill in. I’ll get it in the mail on Monday if all goes well.
Deepstash on mindfulness.
Keep going! I’ve added a layer of complexity to my studies. I’m not just reading the sentences, but now I’m also reading the English and seeing if I can remember the Spanish perfectly
Sent a note to my buddy Jon Paul to get together next week. He’s the treasurer for Whirlwind Missions, and my best sounding board for business issues. He signs my reimbursement checks.

I wrote my newsletter this afternoon. This evening, I produced it and worked on the labels. I still need to print it and get stamps. I had a good chat with Pastor Bill at FBC Doraville. He said he’d get me a key soon to the office, but they’re looking to change out the copier. We’ll see how it goes. I plan on making the copies tomorrow at Office Depot or Staples and get them in the mail.
Contacted Dr. Siore’s office about K’s CT scan and breathing tests. I let them know that Northside Hospital does take our insurance and to send them the request for the procedures.
Another cold day.

I have teams coming into town in March. I’ll be sorting out the three locations that they’ll be working in soon. I know two of them for sure. Need to drop off a card for the manager of the third one. Easy job.
Bitterly cold because of the wind.

Did well last week. I came in #6.
Ordered groceries.
Ordered a new breathing tube and adaptors for K’s CPAP machine.
Talked with Dr. Siore’s office about K’s CT and breathing tests. Wanted to let them know that Northside hospital IS in our Dedicated health network. They have to send an order for the tests to the hospital.
Called Pastor Bill about the situation with the church secretary and whether I could continue to use the photo copier for my newsletters. He said it wasn’t a problem and would get me a key so I could use the machine. We’ll see how it goes.
Also ordered a new mask for K’s CPAP machine.
And replacement heads for her toothbrush.
The girls were excited about the remodeling of their rooms.
Deepstash.
I picked up groceries. Unfortunately, five items were missing. I had to report them so I could get a refund.
Everly made a little gift bag for her friend Kyndal. I packed it up and got it ready to mail.
The same effort that left me at sixth place last week will be plenty for me to be in first place this week. It’s out of twenty people. I’m in the highest of ten leagues in Duolingo.
As I continue on my painting path, I’m looking for the right tools to make my experience better. This includes special brushes and paints. None of this stuff is very expensive, but I think it can make it really fun.

Added more feed to my bird watching stations.

Had a fun chat with my buddy Anthony. He’s in Rome right now. He was planning on visiting an area of Rome noted for its murals. Here’s the “Jumping Wolf.”
He showed me what he was eating there, so I shot him a picture of my lunch, Cashew Tofu from Sweet Basil, a Thai food place.
I’m part of Generation Jones.
I love longer days.
I’m enjoying these excerpts from books.
I’ll come in sixth place this week. I don’t feel a great urge to always come in the top three. I just give a good effort every week.
I recorded and released a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “Scary Caring.” Excellent.
