End of School Party! Grandgirls! 5.29.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:33 pm

I got the newsletters, folded them and put them in the envelopes.

Later, I put them in the mail.

I enjoyed having the grand girls with me.

I had a big limb fall on my fence this morning.

I fixed the gate it landed on.

The grand girls and I hauled the pieces of logs to my recycling pit.

They helped me clean out and mix up sugar water for the hummingbird feeders and helped me put them up.

Cleaned out the bird baths.

The big log also tore down the wire that I used to hold up my windchimes. I reattached a new wire and strung it between the trees to fix that.

We had a great pizza party for end of the school year at Azalea. The kids really enjoyed that.

Then we had a water gun fight.

A good time was had by all.

Went by the church to get checks and water my tree.

Studied Spanish.

Made some banana bread muffins and a thin loaf.

Great day! It was awesome to see so many of the mission kids!

Stone Mountain! Bike! 5.28.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:41 pm

A mild day today.

Rained almost exactly 1″ yesterday.

Studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Powerful thunder storms rolled through our area but narrowly missed us.

I like my new weather app called RadarScope. It’s a professional level meteorological tool.

Went to Stone Mountain to talk to my buddy Anthony and record an episode of Verbal Surgery. That’s always fun.

I’m loving my new place at Stone Mountain.

I have a couple of trees I can park under that make some nice shade.

Beautiful clouds from the thunderstorm.

Cleaned out my birdbaths.

Transported a squirrel today.

I got some black duct tape to repair where my weight bench was tearing,

Biked 15.14 miles today. Rode pretty fast.

Listened to radio from Madrid and Harry Potter in Spanish.

One of the trees got knocked over by a car yesterday. Made me sad to see it run over.

I’ve enjoyed playing Horizon Zero Dawn. Fantastic graphics!

for the win.

Blackhawks! Bike! Newsletters! 5.25.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:15 pm

I studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Kathy and I went over to see the Blackhawks fly in formation over Stone Mountain for Memorial Day.

The nepenthes pitcher plant that I have has started to bloom. The flowers smell a little bit like incense.

I enjoy my mobile recording studio.

I like my new tripod.

I rode my bike 15.22 miles.

Cloudy day.

I did all my memory work and then listened to Spanish from Madrid.

After I got home, I wiped off my bike and put some new chain oil on it. I also applied bike oil to Kathy’s bike and wiped it down.

Did some research on one of my favorite artists, Thomas Dolby.

Wrote my newsletter and produced it.

Also printed the labels.

We are right on target for where we need to be for the newsletter for this month.

Sermon! Feeders! Cake! 5.24.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:58 pm

I studied Spanish and did my brain training this morning.

Worked on my hummingbird feeders. Cleaned them, mixed up the sugar water, hung them back up fresh.

I also cleaned and refilled all the bird baths.

Watered and washed off my plants outside.

Did some research on the flyover tomorrow by the Georgia national guard. Should be practically over our house since they’re going to fly over Stone Mountain.

I really enjoyed listening to a sermon by my friend Tito Ruiz. It was about sticking together in times of hardships.

Made a red velvet cake today. Was super good.

I’ve enjoyed playing Horizon Zero Dawn. It’s sort of like Indians if they were dealing with machines that looked like dinosaurs. The art is fantastic.

I was looking forward to having a ride today. The weather radar looked like it was going to pour down here so I canceled my ride, and then it didn’t get to us.

I was disappointed about that but there was lightning and thunder so I assumed it was gonna be too dangerous to ride.

Transported a squirrel.

Been thinking about my newsletter and what I’m gonna be writing on. That’s a tomorrow job, however!

I continue to watch El Dragon every day. It’s a good story.

I liked this license plate. Reminded me of me.

Beautiful day here in the ATL. Getting warmer every day.

I transported two squirrels today.

I cooked lunch, did stir fry. It was delicious.

I got some new spices in the mail today from Amazon. Looking forward to trying them out.

I also got a package of very small meteorites. I split them up into small packages and then will give them as gifts to friends. Everybody finds them interesting.

I rode my bike 15.22 miles today.

Beautiful clouds.

I did all my memory work then listened to Cadena Ser in Madrid.

I liked this Sharp Shinned Hawk.

I got home and put some more air in Kathy’s bike tires. She has been out riding lately. It makes me happy to see her doing better.

Recorded a podcast of Verbal Surgery today. I have a number of episodes ready to go.
