s

It’s a puzzler. It’s paint, not poop. The drips are very uniform. There are no wires above the area. The closest thing that’s painted white is the tower, which is at least forty yards away and a hundred foot up.

Only in America.

Car! Newsletter! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 1:39 am

I had my car checked out yesterday.
e
They told me that the compression was really low and no telling how much longer the car would last. I was shocked by that because it’s actually been running really well. Then I talked to my other mechanic who deals with the engine and he said that the lower compression is pretty normal and don’t worry about it. I think I’ll side with the mechanic who thinks it’s going to be ok!

Picked up supplies.
e

Printed up the labels for the newsletter.
p

n

Picked up stamps.
s

Tried to repair a kitchen drawer. Lowes didn’t have what I need.

Podcast! Car Prep! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:07 pm

Recorded a new podcast this morning! Always one of my favorite things!
t
d

This one is called “Maximum LIFT!” Need motivation to help you lose weight? This episode will help! Click on the title and groove!

Ate lunch with Jesse and Kathy. Always good.
j

J and I went shopping for a few things at Walmart.

Dropped my car off at T&G. It has had the oil light come on every once in a while. Checking that out and changing the oil.

Ashley picked me up at 3pm. We went to Best Buy together to pick up a new stereo for her car. It’s my way of saying “Thank You” for using her car to drive to Texas. We need the Aux in on the stereo in order to listen to things on our iPhones.

Then to the mission to help the kids with their homework. Not many kids today.
b

I got a microscope for the kids at the mission.
c
j
Still makes me wonder about their cold toes.
t

Wrote my newsletter this evening and sent it to my friends at the Atlanta Metro Baptist Association.

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:13 pm

Still very cold and damp here. I’m trying to stay inside as much as possible. I’m glad it started clearing off! Sure was beautiful this evening.
s

s

Enjoyed working with the kids at the mission.
a

They like my Perpleus puzzle. I’m still stuck at obstacle 20. The total puzzle has 125 steps. Nearly got 20 twice today.
s

Are you smarter than a second grader?
4

Many of my Bengali kids are still wearing flipflops. It was in the low 40s.
d

Admin duties now. Spent over an hour uninstalling programs and deleting add ons in my browser to stop the problem I was having uploading pictures. Sure does take time to figure stuff out.

Enjoying reading Smarter Than We Think” by Clive Thompson.
f
A very up beat book about how technology is improving our lives. I totally agree. I like his term “infinite memory.” Relates to how we can look anything up in a matter of seconds and how people are so archiving their lives that their memory approaches the infinite. Fascinating stuff.

Also liked Bill Gates’ editorial article in Wired magazine this month.
g

I’m trying to figure out what causes this zipper formation on con trail clouds.
d

These are from two different planes. Only certain areas get this pattern. I think it has to do with the engines in the plane synching up momentarily which produces a more concentrated section. Like oscillations on a pendulum.
w

High level ice crystals give the moon a halo.
