Garden! Bike! Pick Up! 3.29.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:25 pm

Mild.

I studied Spanish and did my brain training as usual for me.

Watched some of Westside Baptist Church this morning. Also Generation Church.

I worked on my indoor garden this morning. It really is a beautiful part of my life.

Rode my bike 14.74 miles.

Gorgeous outside.

Arch cloud.

I especially enjoyed looking at the Wisteria today. It’s fun to ride down the sidewalk and smell the different plants as you drive-by.

Here are a series of shots down roads were I have one of my routes. Looked like Walmart and Kroger were pretty full. Notice how hilly it is in the ATL.

All the soccer fields are empty. Wow.

Picked up groceries at Walmart.

I parked my car and had them put the groceries in my backseat, and was out of Walmart in about four minutes. Absolutely unbelievable. I can’t believe I wasn’t doing this a long time ago since it’s a free service if you’re buying more than $30 worth of groceries.

The cherry blossoms outside are blooming now. So beautiful.

I’ve been trying to identify a particular bird sound. I think this thrush or warbler made it. I still haven’t had a good look at him.

Interesting.

Two years ago at the Hypnosis conference in Brazil. I was the final speaker.

Pick Up! Bike! 3.28.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:06 pm

I studied Spanish and did my brain training. I got the Muse to work properly so that was good.

Had a great talk with my buddy, Anthony.

Rinsed pollen off of my cars.

I went through all of the poems that I know and wrote them on cards. It becomes tiresome after a while to practice everything every day so I’m gonna put them on rotation. I know over 30 pieces of poetry. It takes around 30 minutes to quote it all.

A few shots of objects from my desk.

Several of my orchids are blooming right now.

I went on a 12.76 mile bike ride. Beautiful today.

Listened to Harry Potter in Spanish.

Picked up my groceries from Walmart. It’s the first time I’ve ever ordered it online and have them do it all. Sure was easier than going to do it myself! Just need to make sure you have over $30 of groceries to get the service for free.

Podcast! Bike! 3.27.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:34 pm

It was a very warm day today. Up to 88°.

I studied Spanish this morning. My Muse device was having problems sensing Brainwaves today. I did my brain training, just without the technology attached.

Released a new episode of Verbal Surgery. For all the hippies out there, “Flower Power” is for you.

I downloaded the Walmart grocery app today. I ordered all of my groceries online. It was very easy. I set up a time to come by and pick it up: tomorrow 4-5 PM. I pay for it there. And it doesn’t cost any extra money! Which was amazing.

Replanted an aloe.

Went on a 12.77 mile bike ride today.

It was marvelous. The air was just perfect. Everything was so beautiful. Highly recommend bicycle riding during these crisis times.

It was so weird to look up in the sky this evening and only see one airplane with one contrail. Normally the whole sky is full of those. Our airport in Atlanta is the biggest in the world.

Enjoying the book, Mind Over Mind.

Used some my high-tech oil on my bicycle chain today.

Podcast! Bike! Labels! 3.25.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:12 pm

I recorded an episode of Verbal Surgery today. Always fun.

Studied Spanish.

Rained another inch last night. Equal to about two more gallons of rainwater for my collection.

Got stamps.

Good talk with Anthony and Kat.

Went for a 10.97 mile bike ride. Beautiful weather. Great ride. Had fun taking pictures of nature.

Working on getting the labels on the envelopes for the newsletters. Ashley and the girls are supposed to come over tomorrow. Will fold the newsletters and get all of those in the mail tomorrow. It’s best to try to keep as much of our normal behavior as possible.

Podcast! Water! Newsletter! 3.24.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:50 pm

Rained slightly more than 1.5″.

Reading Mind Over Mind.

The county where I live is now closing down its parks.

Did my brain training and Spanish study this morning.

I figured out a way to get the leaf matter out of the rain water that I collected yesterday.

I produced my newsletter. Hopefully will get that printed up by our friend at church soon.

Released a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “I Patch.” That’s always good!

Took a few pictures of objects on my desk for your amusement.

Rain! 3.23.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:31 pm

Reading Mind Over Mind.

Studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Also worked on Hebrew.

Rainy day today.

I set out some plastic containers to gather rainwater for my plants, since I’m having trouble finding distilled water.

Doing some research on amplifiers. Our little PA may no be fixable.

Been playing Borderlands 3. Today I got a weapon that had the mind killer piece on it. Hilarious!

I started cleaning out my garden area. After I take the plants back outside, there’s always a lot of detritus on the floor.

I’ve vacuumed all that up. I still need to go back in with a swiffer to clean the floor properly. Getting all the heavy dirt was the first step.

Love this picture of Ashley. My old office.

Some objects on my desk.

Mind Over Mind! Squirrel! 3.22.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:47 pm

I had a raccoon visitor last night. They come regularly.

Big storm only gave us a trace of rain.

Did my Spanish study and brain training this morning.

Enjoyed a rest day after all the physical labor this week.

Been reading Mind Over Mind.

Been watching a series on Netflix called The Originals. It’s based on the Vampire Diaries.

I trapped and transported squirrel number 90 today. I take them to a Forest about 5 miles from my house.

Calls! Yard Work! 3.21.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:33 pm

Beautiful day!

I did my Spanish and brain training this morning.

Had fun calling Anthony, my Mom, and Ashley and the girls!

Put the primer on the sheet rock that was repaired.

Worked on my yard a little over four hours today.

Here are the before pictures.

I raked and trimmed bushes.

Lotta heavy work including pulling up roots and digging them up.

Sticks and roots into the bush pile.

Trimmed tree branches.

Mowed.

Blowed.

Mulched most of the leaves.

Cleaned shoes.

Lotta beauty!

Cleaned near my door.

Podcast! Yard Work! Plants! 3.20.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:42 pm

Studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Released a new episode of Verbal Surgery “Peacock Feet!” and also recorded an episode. Double pleasure.

Great talk with my buddy Anthony Jacquin today.

Did a lot of yard work got most of the leaves into the compost area now. I’ll mulch them up with the lawnmower soon.

I got a new tarp for my roof. I took the old one down and used that to gather leaves. I staple gunned the new one up there until we can get the roofers to come fix it. During the corona crisis I don’t know when that will be. But at least my roof won’t be getting any worse now.

” alt=”” />

Took all my plants outside. I think the chance of it getting freezing cold now is very slim.

I planted these ivy strands.
