Tim A. Cummins @ 9:44 pm

Finished burning and packaging the last dvd for our team from Silverdale BC. Ready for a fresh week!

K and I went to Westside Baptist Church this morning.
s

I always enjoy hearing Ben preach.
s

Worked on the music list for the morning show with Ashley. I wanted some “break” music while we give the kids a chance to use the bathroom.

Then mowed, trimmed and blew off the yard and driveway.

s
We’ve had rain!

Over a mile of walking around pushing a mower.

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:41 pm

Paid bills and got DVDs for the teams from last week in the mail!
s
Finished editing, posting and burning a DVD for the the third team.

I finally got a new camera. My last one was shooting out of focus about every fourth shot. Very frustrating.
s
The Canon Elph 350 HS is the big brother to the 340 HS that I’ve been shooting with the last year and a half. Here are some shots with the 350.

s
Peru!
s

Did the grocery shopping.

Can you guess what this is for?
s

After drinking the drinks, I plan on making shakers out of these.

Had a good lunch with K.

Got a chest to put the musical instruments in for the briefings for the teams. We’re going to start calling our time with the teams “Heaven One Eleven.” Stands for the 100 minutes of praise and learning and 11 minutes of prayer time.

I decided to paint the chest gold. Yeah, baby!
s

I practiced a new song for the worship time in Heaven One Eleven. “Cristo Vive” was the theme song for my band Cruz.
s

Finished watching Chappie with K. I really liked that movie. A very touching take on Artificial Intelligence.

Admin duties now.

Nice tire!

Dedication! BHFM! Missions!

Tim A. Cummins @ 4:20 pm

On Thursday, Ashley and I had fun briefing our teams on how to engage people in the market place.
s

We also had our dedication service! That’s composed of passing the baton, “It’s up to ME”, our prayer time, my Aaronic blessing from Numbers 6 in Hebrew, anointing them with oil from Jerusalem, they turn in their card to the picture of Jesus and sign the Landing Pad.
s
s
s
s

We took them on a Cultural Safari to the Buford Highway Farmers Market.
s
s

Then to the missions. Ashley and I focused on our team from Silverdale BC.
s
s
Came home to work on editing videos.

Friday morning, I took the Expedition to T&G to get the emissions control checked. They were short staffed and not able to do it.

Registered us to vote.
s

Went to the park to record an episode of Verbal Surgery!

s
I always love to do that!

s

This is a great edition to help you get over feelings of anger towards someone else. Check out “Baby Hugs!”

Came home to fill up the feeders for my birds. That includes, Hummingbird water, suet and birdseed.
s
Got my cable in to hook up the computer to the sound system.
s

Sent some money to my travel agent in Peru by Western Union. Hope it works!

Did some research on Peru. Started packing my bag and also ordered a sleeping bag.
s
s

Enjoyed eating lunch with K.
s

More editing, processing video, uploading to YouTube, burning DVDs, putting the package together for the team and mailing the final email with the links to the photos, video and social media.
s

Also includes the link to my new book “Power Prayer!”

I was hoping to go to the book store today. Maybe tomorrow.

More admin duties now.

I liked this.

Carmel and Silverdale! Asian Square!

Tim A. Cummins @ 6:06 pm

Moon was fantastic Tuesday evening.
s

Ashley and I had fun briefing the kids on Buddhism today. Ashley added some new material to the production. Way to go, Ashley!
s
s

We had our third session of Power Prayer today. After praying about various health issues that the kids had, each person picked a single red thread from “Rachel’s Golden Tree of Love.”
s

Then to Asian Square!
s
s

Our Silverdale group came with us to eat at Penang Malaysian food.
s

Then to the missions!
s
s
s
s
Ashley and I shot video and pictures of the teams. They’re doing great!

We also ordered cables for the computer to go into our amplifier.

Tried to check on teams in Norcross. I must have missed them. I got stuck in traffic on Buford Highway. Oh, well.

Home now working on admin duties.

This was weird to me.
s

Multitasking Michelle.

Dedication! Plaza Fiesta!

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:50 pm

Ashley and I had fun briefing our teams on Catholicism today.
s

s
s
Then to Plaza Fiesta!
s
Meadow Brook was the first team where I used “Rachel’s Golden Tree of Love” with the Red Threads. Each person gets a partner who ties the Red String onto their left wrest.
When someone asks what that is you say it’s your “Prayer trigger. Can I pray for you? Do you have anything you’re worried about?” Seems pretty non-scary. We’ll see how it works.

They’re doing great at the missions!

In the transition time between missions, we got our cars washed.

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:36 pm

Ashley and I had fun briefing our teams this morning!
s
s
s
We ate lunch at the Calcutta Palette. Everyone seemed to enjoy it!

Ashley took the two teams up to Norcross to see Global Mall and Al Madina. I gave the initial briefing to our other new team from Carmel Baptist Church from Charlotte, NC.

I spent almost all of my time working with the bus driver to get the routes.

Went to Walmart to pick up some supplies. I bought more black sheets to make background for our displays. Then tied the sheets in place.

Then to Lowes to make keys for the sanctuary and a locked closet for storing our chairs.
s

Went out to eat Zaxby’s with Jesse and Kathy. Always fun. I got him a Pachcephalasaurous, one of the dinosaurs in Jurassic World. He really liked it. : )

Home now working on admin duties.

Meadow Brook! Missions! Temple! Al Madina!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:39 pm

I worked on admin duties this morning. And rested.

Had lunch with Kathy. I liked her can.
s

I designed the display for the Red Thread that we’re going to use as part of our prayer emphasis. In Judaism, wearing a red thread was an homage to Rachel the matriarch of Jews. She is supposed to be charitable and always kind in her speech. We want to use it as a way to remember to pray. I also anointed the threads with some oil from Jerusalem as I quoted the Aaronic blessing in Hebrew. I think it’s fun to come with stories and traditions.
s

When I added the black curtain, the gold painted branches look really good.
z

I also decided to hang up the Landing Pad. Looks cool.

Met up with Ashley at the church. I always run my ideas through her. I come up with some pretty far out stuff.

Met the teams at the missions. Shot some pics and video.
s
s
s
Then took them on a tour of the BAPS temple in Lawrenceville. Mr. Patel gave us a tour. It was interesting.
d
s
s

s
s

Ate at Al Madina. All the kids seemed to enjoy it.

Came home to watch Pride with K.

Last year, one of the youth from Meadow Brook was killed in a rock climbing accident. The church raised money for our ministry in her name. We look forward to remembering Millie in future block parties because of her love for Whirlwind Missions!

We had a great time together!

Enjoyed spending time with K. Rested.

Dedication! Rabbi! Plaza Fiesta!

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:12 pm

Flat tire as I went to work this morning. I was able to inflate it yesterday and it held air all the way home.
s
Drove Big Red into town. K’s car doesn’t have any AC. Man, was it hot. I felt like I was being slowly microwaved.

Ashley and I had a great time briefing our team on Catholicism this morning. We completed our live recordings of the four days. The rough video looks really good. It’s eight hours of material.

s
s

I had been practicing my Hebrew and did the Aaronic blessing.

It went really well.

After the blessing, I anoint their forehead with Lily of the Valley oil from Jerusalem. In Hebrew, I quote Numbers 6:24 “Yeh va REh khe KHA AhdoNAI. Vey YEESH meh reh KHA.” May the Lord lift up his face to you. May He bless you.
s
People seemed to really respond to it.

I mean, wouldn’t you like to have YOUR head anointed with oil while someone is quoting a Hebrew blessing?

I got a word from the Lord that I should use red string to remind people to pray. Turns out that its an ancient Jewish tradition! It’s supposed to be wrapped around the grave of Rachel. Don’t know if we’ll do that, but perhaps I’ll soak it in the Frankincense and Myrrh oil that I got. It’s also from Jerusalem.

I like the idea of making things that people can get emotionally involved with.

After our Dedication Ceremonies, we went on a Cultural Safari to Plaza Fiesta!

We saw our friend Tracy Powers from the Clarion Inn there.
s
The teams liked the food!
s

I left after lunch to go back home. I needed to get Kathy to work and to get my tire fixed.

Turned out it wasn’t reparable. Got a new left rear. About $112. Not bad.
s

Came home to work on my newsletter and labels.

Got those done. It was more complicated than usual because I was dropping people I’d added three months ago from churches where I had spoken from our mailing list. Got it figured out.

K and I enjoyed supper together. She’s resting now.

Admin duties now.

I thought this was funny.
