Had a fun rest day today!

I caught up on my admin duties from last night.

Edited video of Ashley’s horseback practice. Groovy. K did a nice job shooting.

I’ll upload that asap.

The azaleas are so beautiful this year.

I thought the pollen pattern at the edge of the window was interesting.

Went to lunch with K and J. Treated ourselves to Red Lobster. They looked so beautiful today.

Home to rest. Enjoying non-pressure days.

Admin duties.

Still a lot of pollen! Here’s what washes off the car.

I had a fun day Thursday with Rob Martin!

He’s a great friend and partner with Whirlwind Missions!

His group Mobilizing Students have brought a lot of people our direction to do missions.

June 10-14 we have about 100 people coming to town to work with us! We needed to look for more places for them to stay in the evening.

We went by Peachtree Pres. Had a good meeting with a couple of people, but looks like they’re doing their VBS the same days we need to stay there.

Finally went by Comfort Inn in Doraville.

We’ve used their hotel many times. Talked to April to see what kind of a deal we could get to stay there and also provide a couple of meals.

Looks like that might work out! : ) I think that it’s a good choice on many levels.

Did the shopping at Walmart for the week. Beautiful flowers in their greenhouse!

This ad creeped me out.

What makes it sinful?

I prefer to just clean PART of my tire.

I take a bath in this every day.

I wonder if this works on people? Sometime my knee hurts. . . .

Came home to watch movies with K! Restful evening. Put off my admin duties till this morning. Trying to act at least a little like I’m taking a break!

Laughing’s not usually associated with skulls. Maybe it should be!

I thought that the water patterns/pollen on the roof of my car reminded me of gas nebulae in outer space!

Got up for a 2.52 mile run this morning. Felt good. Ran with the Sugar Dawg.

I rinsed off my car. LOT of pollen in the air!

Jesse and I went to Metro Cafe for lunch. Tasty!

Came home to read, rest and play Tomb Raider. I think it’s one of the most beautiful games I’ve played recently. Take a look at these shots!

Kathy and I enjoyed a restful evening. We watched Argo. I can’t believe Affleck wasn’t nominated for a Directors Award.
I thought this tulip was beautiful.

Woke up this morning with a text from Ashley that Miles had had an accident and fallen through their glass door! Yow! He had to have 16 stitches. Ouch. He’s doing fine, but we appreciate your prayers for his shoulder and healing rapidly.

I finished editing the video I shot last week.

Uploaded it and burned DVDs for the church.

Got them in the mail this morning!

Worked on updating my Twitter feed. Over 84,000 followers!

We enjoyed eating lunch with the whole family today!


Came home to rest and work on admin duties.

The pollen is coming strong! It sticks wherever I put my hand.

Went for a 2.5 mile run this afternoon. Took the sweet ol’ Sugar Dawg.

Had a great day with my team from Moon Grove Baptist Church, Colbert, GA!

Met up with the team at Clarkston International Bible Church.

Fun to also have Ashley and Miles with us.

Kathy came along too!

Pastor Phil spoke about evangelism this morning. “Bring them to see!”

Then we took the team to Al Madina to share with them about Islamic culture and eat delicious Middle Eastern delicacies!

Next on the tour was Global Mall and learning something about Hinduism.

Best part of the day was going back to Highland Knoll to work with the kids! Always fun!

Home now to work on admin duties. Finished editing and posting the video for New Bethel. I’ll start work on what I shot with Moon Grove now.

Today marks Day 42 with one day off! Looking forward to a rest period this coming week. Hard to believe that the week that OUR kids have off for Spring Break, we don’t have a team in town!!

Got gas this morning. Going down!

Ashley and I had a fun time briefing out team from Moon Grove Baptist Church today!

We shared about Catholicism in the Latino culture.

Took them over to Plaza Fiesta. Always an amazing place full of beauty and wonder. And great food!





AWESOME to have Miles with us too!

He loved the plate of salsa!

This cat needs to eat a bit more I reckon.

Then to Azalea Place to work with the kids.




And over to Highland Knoll.

Admin duties now. Editing video I shot last week. Compressing, uploading and burning DVDs. Yeah, baby!

I thought this was funny. One of the ladies said, “If this happens to you, girls, just let him go!”

Nearly 1/2″ of rain yesterday.

My friend John Maloney took down the crosses from outside FBC Doraville today. Take up your cross, or maybe two!

Ashley and I enjoyed giving our briefing on Buddhism this morning to our team from Moon Grove BC!

Then took them to CD Tower to see the Buddhist idols.

They always enjoy buying some of the beautiful things there!

Showed them Carneceria #1 where I bought the team some quesadilllas!

After lunch, we went to New Peachtree Apartments to work on striping the parking lot. Sure was glad we had nice weather today!

I helped figure out where the stripes would go.

Then to Highland Knoll to work with the kids. The children were SO happy we came by!

It got warm enough to actually go into Flip Flop Mode! I reckon you’ll be able to see the tan lines in a few months!

Ashley and I went by the church to make sure we have enough room in another room to give them our briefing in the morning. The fellowship hall will be used for a baby shower.

Home now to work on admin duties and edit video.

I stayed up late Wednesday night to work on a new podcast! Always fun!


I love this episode called “Happy Endings!”

Ashley and I enjoyed briefing our team this morning on Catholicism!

I had a meeting with two of my good friends, Joel Harrison and Tito Ruiz.

We discussed some possibilities of church planting. Fascinating!

Then met with my new team from Moon Grove Baptist Church in Colbert, GA. Briefed them on our area and then took them to the Farmer’s Market.

Ashley took our team from New Bethel over to Plaza Fiesta.

After the Farmers Market I led our team from Moon Grove to Highland Knoll and helped them round up the kids.

Then over to Azalea to meet up with our team from New Bethel.

Took one of their team members to Plaza Fiesta to exchange something they purchased as well as talking to a phone repairman who was working on Ashley’s iPhone. He fixed the screen but the on/off button is now not working. We’ll take it back over there tomorrow to see if he can get that squared away.

Had our final time with the group from New Bethel at one of our favorite restaurants Penang! It was delicious and fun to have our whole family together including Kathy, Jesse and Miles!

Came home to watch Psych and Elementary with Kathy and work on admin duties.

Ashley and I had a fun time briefing our team on Islam and Hinduism this morning.

We took them over to Madina to learn more about Islam and enjoy some Middle Eastern food.

Then to Global Mall to see the Hindu Temple there.

Our service project today was striping the parking lot at New Peachtree Apartmnents. They did an outstanding job!

Best part of the day was working with the kids at the mission.

Admin duties now. Enjoyed watching Duck Dynasty with K this evening.
