TK Time!

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:29 pm

I’ve been enjoying beautiful Tybee Island over the last few days.
t
It’s been great to get some rest and enjoy one of my favorite cities in America: Savannah! Birthplace of my children! First capital of Georgia!
t

s
It was fun to think about George Washington or Ben Franklin walking around the squares in the Historic District.
c
Enjoyed the Greek Festival while I was there.

And the Art Festival on Tybee.

And just the awesome beach!

We did a 12 mile bike ride along the Savannah River. Beauty!

Love the moss!
m

It’s actually in the same family with pineapples!

b
It was in the 70s, perfect weather and the place was nearly deserted.
t
I also shot pictures at Laurel Grove cemetary. It has MANY graves from the dead Confederate soldiers from Gettysburg.

Seeing that I just recently saw the hand written edition of the Gettysburg Address just recently, and the letter from Sherman to Lincoln preserving Savannah, it was really special.
g

Great time! Good to rest.

On our way home, I got a call from the manager of Huntington Creek. She said that the North’s apartment had been busted into. That’s a sad piece of business. Ian lost a lot of DVDs and also his Mac laptop.

Pray for them!

Jesse also sounds a little congested. I’m glad we’re here to take care of him.

I’m looking forward to going to Texas on Thursday. I always enjoy hanging out with my parents. I’m going up to Baylor for Homecoming on Friday and watch the football game on Saturday.

I’m giving a short report at the Worship Place on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing them. Big supporters!

Great to be back home.

I liked doing swishy patterns with the lights on the palm trees.
s

Can you see the foot print above the sand, too?
s

I loved the iron work at the cemeteries.

This reminded me of living in Savannah. Always lots of these tree trucks. Saw this one on our way home.
