CIBC! Babies! Podcast!

Tim A. Cummins @ 5:13 pm

Kathy and I had a fun morning at Clarkston International Bible Church today.
c
c
I was sad that for the second week in a row our Pastor Phil didn’t speak. I miss his good words. One of our other pastors spoke. He did a good job too.

Kathy loves babies! Did you know she works with refugee babies three times a week?
k

She does a great job with them.

She got her baby fix today with this sweet little angel.

Came home to rest.

Just recorded a new podcast! I enjoy helping people feel good, NOW!

This episode shares how important it is to “Open your arms to LOVE!” Click on the title for a burst of positivity and LOVE!

Working on admin duties now. I want to go for a run, but when it’s SO hot, I just have to evaluate how good that is for me! Hopefully later . . .

Team India!

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:17 pm

Had a fun day today with some of my favorite people, Carl and Pat Barrington! Carl is the president of our board at Whirlwind Missions and the smartest guy I know. Pat is my doctor and the hardest working person I’ve ever seen! They were great to work with on our trip to Niger, W. Africa.
mm
We had a meeting at Mary Macs to get to know the rest of the team coming from FBC McDonough. They seem like a really good group!

t

I’m looking forward to this trip back to India to do medical work and share the good news!

Promises to be a challenging trip with sweltering heat, typhoid, Japanese encephalitis and very rural conditions. My kind of place!

Enjoyed spending time with Kathy this evening.

I liked the way the bark was splitting away from the tree.

Newsletters PLUS! Azalea!

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:20 pm

I worked till after midnight last night finishing up my article for the newsletter.
t
n
This morning I went over to Staples to make my copies.

And to the Post Office to get stamps.
po
sa
Had to take a copy of what I was sending to get the right amount of postage. It only cost another .20 to mail the DVD! Awesome!
p

This afternoon Ashley, Jesse and I went over to the mission at Azalea. The kids always enjoy helping us do “stickers.”
a
m
j

They also enjoy the doughnuts!
d
d
Got the newsletters PLUS the DVDs in the mail today just in time to make it before it closed. Perfecto, baby!

That was really a whopper project. I calculated it took me an extra 26 hours to complete that project over the last two weeks. It was definitely a labor of love!

I actually have fun creating and producing things! Whether is podcasts, photography, articles or artwork!

I have another massive project going on now! Although I reckon this one will take me 365 days (plus!) to complete. You may have heard me talk about my One Year Bible. Kathy gave me my Bible when I turned 30. I’ve read the whole Bible all the way through 23 times!

Whenever anything happened of significance, I always wrote about it in the margin of that day in the Bible.
b

Over the last decade, I usually write something pretty much every day.

Transcribing that is a gigantic job. I bought a new Journal a few days ago.
j
I’ve literally run out of room to write. No more margin space!

When we had the fire at my house the ONLY material object I was concerned about was my Bible. So I’m putting all the info in a journal and then I plan not only to take a picture of each day, but also of the Bible.

At home now working on admin duties.

Looking forward to my meeting with the rest of the India Team tomorrow morning.

Hot one today!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:55 pm

Had a wonderful lunch with my brothers Tito and Lester Ruiz! Always great to see them!
t
We’ve played in the band Cruz together for years.

Don’t get to do that much any more.

Jesse and I took care of other errands. Like picking up a special dictionary for Ashley.
d
And getting pictures for my visa for India.

And more school supplies for the kids.

And a gift for some of the families for Eid—the end of Ramadan.

And a key and another fan for the mission. It’s still hot!
f
Before joining Ashley and Kathy to help the kids with their homework.

Dropped Rob back off at his car and visited some more with the Norths. I liked Ruthie’s garden.

Then over to the book store for a while. Always one of my favorite places!

Maybe I need this book?

g

Went to Publix on the way home to pick up more meds for my trip to India. This sign was outside their front door! Does it make any sense to you?
t
Make any sense for a store to say “no trespassing?”

Spent a few minutes at Goodwill looking at more t-shirts! Got some cool with with Hebrew writing on them. Groovy.

Not sure this software will sell anytime soon!
mg

Back at home working on admin duties.

Fun!

Another hot one today.

LifeGuard DVD!

Tim A. Cummins @ 5:22 pm

Been working most of the day on DVD production for our next newsletter mail out.

It’s quite an involved production.

You may remember a week ago I worked on editing, downloading and uploading the video that Ashley and I shot at FBC Jonesboro.

Now I’m burning dvds and making labels. I use Pinnacle Studio HD15 to edit video and Memorex Express It labeling software.
v
l

Have to print the labels.
p
Then you have to put the label on the DVD.
ll

And finally pop them into a little envelope.
e
I think they look groovy!

I did all the photography on the project. That makes it special to me too.

It’s pretty cool how you can be your own publishing company!

Working on admin duties too.

Enjoyed lunch with J.

We got a smoothie for Ashley. Had some interesting stuff at Smoothie King.

f

It was only a matter of time . . . .
c

I liked J’s t-shirts all in a row.
jt

I thought the grain on the wood was cool looking.
