Had a fun day today with Kathy, her brother Bill and his girlfriend Deborah and Jesse and Colleen!

The cannon guards the zoo!

I liked the Kookabera bird. I like to say Kookabera. Try it! It’s fun!
c
It has the wildest bird song ever. They always play it in old Tarzan movies. It’s “the sound of the jungle.” Of course you know the Kookabera only lives in Australia! GDay, Tarzan!
This is my favorite statue in Atlanta. The baby elephant!
e
You know THAT’S right!
p
The rhino was particularly fiesty today! I tried to call him over with my special “Rhino whistle.” I don’t think he was impressed.

Gimme a kiss, Mom!

We were tired after all the walking!
k

Always enjoy seeing the animals and the weather was perfect: Can you believe it got to low 70s?
t

The hornbill always seems to have an attitude.
h

I loved the red berries and blue sky.
b

J and Bill tried out the foot massage chair. They were less than impressed.
jb

I’m glad we have the pandas for another four years!
p

I bought Bill a little warthog. He loves ’em. I used to eat them for sausage back in Kenya. They taste better than they look!
w

The most shocking thing I saw all day was before we went to the Zoo. Can you believe someone is still selling VHS tapes?
