Had a fun day today! Rode my bike 4.01 miles and ran 3.54. Warmer than it’s been lately. Always beautiful!

I saw this in the concrete.

Rested at the house then went to Cafe Istanbul to celebrate Ashley’s husband Miles’ birthday! Quarter century!

I wonderful time was had by all.

Great company, delicious food and belly dancing! Woot!

Home now for admin duties.

I’ll be getting up tomorrow at 7:30am to get all the way to Duluth to preach at the Atlanta Chinese Christian Church tomorrow morning. I’m actually speaking to the Mandarin congregation so it’ll be translated. Should be interesting!

Picked up the comforter that I had cleaned.

On the way there I saw this HUGE mess on the side of the road. Over 200 small sponges for surgical procedures were everywhere.

It was so offensive to me that I pulled over, got a trash bag out and picked them all up.

I found this little pin on the ground as I was cleaning up.

Went to Lowes to get a gas siphon for to get the gas out of the van.

I loved this Halloween decoration. It’s 16 feet tall!

Jesse and I went to see Gravity in IMAX 3D. It was an unforgettable experience.

Can’t believe I didn’t get a better picture of us.

Kathy has had a bad ear and our good friend and doctor Pat Barrington called in a round of antibiotics to help her. I picked up the meds after the movie and took them to her.

Then I left again to go see my good friend Manny Mitra who now lives in Turkey! He was here representing our mission board. Can’t believe I didn’t get a picture of him either. Must be losing my touch. We had a great time hanging out. Showed him some of the International Village. Then ate at Waffle House. It’s a beautiful thing.
