Podcast! Briarcliff!

Tim A. Cummins @ 5:11 pm

Saturday morning I worked catching up on admin duties. The only thing I get behind on is posting pictures and updating social media.

Took my comforter to get cleaned. I was going to clean my suit pants but I needed them Sunday morning.
s

Recorded a new podcast!
s
I’ve been having a lot of little aches and pains, it’s important to be careful about your description of yourself and your booboo! Run, don’t limp, towards “Fully Operational!”

s
Just click on the title and GROOVE!

Enjoyed supper with Jesse and Kathy! Great to have loved ones close!
s

Watched Transporter Refuled, Saturday afternoon. I liked it! But he’s no Jason Statham. We went to see at at “Nicaragua.” That’s what we call our new movie place.

Nashville! Paducah! Recon! Anthony!

Tim A. Cummins @ 4:30 pm

Jesse and I had a fun week!
s

We went on safari to Nashville, TN to meet up with a friend of ours from the UK, Anthony Jacquin. He was in the USA working with a client.
s

We enjoyed checking out Nashville.
d
s
s

I loved the “Batman” building.
s

I found this little bat on the ground near it. I thought it was dead. Suddenly, it flew off!
s

I spent several days talking with churches in both Tennessee and Kentucky about working with us in Atlanta.
s
s
s

s

Made some good friends and great contacts. Hopefully, ALL of them will come and help us!

We also went to Paducah.
s
It was fun to see the home town of William Clark—of Lewis and Clark fame.
s
s
s
s
s

I thought the architecture was superb. It reminded me of Georgetown, TX. They were built in similar time periods, mid 1800s.

Some items from the drug store.

s
s
Ouch.
s
I thought this was odd.
s

They had things from the local fire department in the museum.
s
s
a
I made a new friend.
s

Great to have Jesse and Anthony together! Two of my favorite people!!
s

s
Hours of discussion! Nothing better!
s
Fantastic “super” moon while we were there.
s

Talked with churches in Paducah, too.

s
s

s
On our way home, we dropped Anthony back at the airport in Nashville.

I had fun stopping at a few antique stores on the way home. I always have fun looking.
s
s

Fantastic drive home. Just beautiful. I want to remember how I got there. It was a detour Google sent me on to avoid a traffic jam.
s
s

The detour took me past Alpine Lodge. Kathy and I have stayed there at least ten times.
s

J and I stopped in St. Elmo to eat pizza and ice cream. The place has a special significance to all NoZe Brothers.
s

I got the cheapest gas ever on this last safari.
s

Got home late Friday night. Went to bed early.

Fantastic sunsets!

Just a reminder!

Covers! Newsletters!

Tim A. Cummins @ 5:04 pm

I burned the DVDs for our promotional packets a few days ago. Today I printed out 20 covers and put them on the disks.
s
s
s
s

I made my own coffee this morning. I kind of miss my friends at QT.
s

Went by the Atlanta Metro Baptist Association office to pick up our newsletters. THANKS!
s

I folded the newletters and stuffed them into the envelopes.

Then I went to the Post Office to get them in the mail stream.
s
s

I’m still working on putting the promotional packages together. Shouldn’t take too long.

Admin duties now.

Podcast! Recon! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:03 pm

I had a fun morning recording a new podcast!
s

It’s great to have a little break in the manic schedule to do other things.
s

Doing what you love is a goal of life. Are you living the life you dream of? If not, check out “Cheap Seats!”
s
Just click on the title and GROOVE!

Enjoyed lunch with BOTH my girls today!
s

I made my first cup of coffee in several years.

s
I decided I could brew my own.

Came home to rest, then shot off to the mission with Ashley. Before we went to Chamblee, we stopped at T and G to see about Miles’ car.

She’s getting the Explorer checked out before she transitions to that car with the baby. It had bad wheel bearings in the front left tire. They got that fixed this afternoon.

Then we went to a new apartment complex to talk with their management about hosting a block party at their property. I felt pretty good about the meeting. Lord willing, they’ll let us in.
s

Had a good time working with the kids at the mission.
s
s

They helped stick magnetic strips on the back of the new prayer card.
s
s
(The picture looks great on the card. I didn’t hold the camera quite steady enough in this shot.)

Helped the kids with their homework.
s

s

Cleaned up the mission.

Jesse and I are going to Tennessee and Kentucky next week. We’re going to see our good friend Anthony Jacquin from England. While I’m in the area, I’ll be talking to local churches about coming to work with us in Atlanta.

Admin duties now.

Gives a new meaning to the words “Bird Feeder.” Can you see what’s in the tree?
s

Zoomed in.
s
It’s a juvenile Red Shouldered Hawk.
