Nashville! Paducah! Recon! Anthony!
Jesse and I had a fun week!
We went on safari to Nashville, TN to meet up with a friend of ours from the UK, Anthony Jacquin. He was in the USA working with a client.
We enjoyed checking out Nashville.
I loved the “Batman” building.
I found this little bat on the ground near it. I thought it was dead. Suddenly, it flew off!
I spent several days talking with churches in both Tennessee and Kentucky about working with us in Atlanta.
Made some good friends and great contacts. Hopefully, ALL of them will come and help us!
We also went to Paducah.
It was fun to see the home town of William Clark—of Lewis and Clark fame.
I thought the architecture was superb. It reminded me of Georgetown, TX. They were built in similar time periods, mid 1800s.
All this carving was done by German immigrants. It is the interior of a drug store from 1880.
Some items from the drug store.
Ouch.
I thought this was odd.
They had things from the local fire department in the museum.
I made a new friend.
Great to have Jesse and Anthony together! Two of my favorite people!!
Hours of discussion! Nothing better!
Fantastic “super” moon while we were there.
Talked with churches in Paducah, too.
On our way home, we dropped Anthony back at the airport in Nashville.
I had fun stopping at a few antique stores on the way home. I always have fun looking.
Fantastic drive home. Just beautiful. I want to remember how I got there. It was a detour Google sent me on to avoid a traffic jam.
The detour took me past Alpine Lodge. Kathy and I have stayed there at least ten times.
J and I stopped in St. Elmo to eat pizza and ice cream. The place has a special significance to all NoZe Brothers.
I got the cheapest gas ever on this last safari.
Got home late Friday night. Went to bed early.
Fantastic sunsets!
Just a reminder!
