Aquarium! Bills! Bank! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:24 pm

Cleaned my aquarium today. They are pretty much a labor free pet.
s
Also watered my plants.
s
I check every one with a hygrometer. s It has revolutionized plant care for me. It is impossible to know exactly when a plant needs watering just by looking. Sticking a finger in the dirt can help, but it’s nothing like this. And they’re cheap.

Paid bills for the ministry.
s

Went to the bank to deposit money for the ministry.
s

Worked with the kids at the mission.
s

Great to see Mustak. He comes to help regularly.

Spent a little time with K. She’s tired at night since she gets up at 6am. Glad we had lunch together.

Admin duties now.

A college buddy of mine who was with me in the NoZe Brotherhood at Baylor, asked me for this picture. I thought you might like to see my picture in Playboy.

s
d
s
I’ve always got Amazon boxes coming to my house. These contained rechargeable batteries.
s

Enjoyed recording a new podcast!
s

I especially like this episode called “Gitgo!”

Put your life in motion, NOW!

Just click on the title and GROOVE!

Here’s the view out my window while I’m recording.
s

Dropped off the financial report at my treasurer’s house.
s
Helped Kathy sort out her medicine.
s

Went by the office to pick up checks. Thank you, Lord!

Enjoyed working with the kids at the mission!

Rashawn is one of the smartest kids I know.
s

I look at his paper and give him constructive comments.

Came home to prep the donation checks for the bank.

Ashley and I make a copy of the checks for our records.

I’ll deposit them tomorrow.

Wrote checks for bills.

Admin duties now.

I couldn’t resist.

Kathy and I enjoyed going to Westside Baptist Church Sunday morning.

Pastor Ben talked about sharing Christ with our neighbors during this holiday season.

s
We had a prayer time after the sermon.
s

Enjoyed eating with K at Always Fresh.

Worked on the financial report. Got bills in the mail.
s

Finished entering in the donations, expenses and checks for Whirlwind.
s
Ash has been doing a great job with the finances. I’m giving her a break while she focuses on the most beautiful grandbaby EVER. Seems a fair trade.

Posted new tweets. They’re my version of sermon notes.
s

I’ve been enjoying playing Star Wars Battlefront. It’s an amazing multiplayer game (I play against human opponents from all around the USA (I’ve seen England and Spain as well).
s

The graphics are absolutely gorgeous. There are two teams. I’m learning the maps of the four locations, in particular where you are spawned or “reborn” after you’re killed. Fun.
s

I’ve enjoyed playing with Yoda, my new robot!

Battlefront! Finances! Perimeter! Birthday Party!

Tim A. Cummins @ 3:27 pm

GREAT to see Miles, Ashley and Penelope! FIRST time to our house.
s
s
Ashley lined me out on taking care of the financial report for a while. Give her and the baby some time!
s
Deposited checks for Whirlwind.
s
Picked up prescriptions for Kathy.
s

Jesse stayed with us as his car had the ignition switch and crankcase seal replaced. A big reason our cars last so long is because we’re aggressive about maintenance.

He’s working on his new virtual reality super computer. He calls is “VRPC1.

I had a fun day on Friday playing Battlefront. I’m still learning the maps.
s
The graphics on the PS4 are awesome.
s

My best EVER sighting of the International Space Station! It was visible for at least four minutes, which is a long time for a satellite! Clear sky and just after sunset made it perfect for observing. It it tracked nearly directly overhead.

It’s amazing how excited I get about this nerdy stuff.
s
I brought home my Yoda Legendary Master robot.
s
Amazing animatronic creation with sensors and voice recognition. The face and motions are amazingly lifelike. I LOVE that Disney has taken over the Star Wars franchise. Their stuff is always so high quality and exactly based on the movies.
d
d
s
I’m still learning about the sensors.
s

Saturday morning I took a ride to Perimeter church to pick up art boxes and beanie babies for the kids.
s

The children helped me unload.
s

Stack neatly.
s

Get a present!
s

Gassed up the car.
s
Came home to watch Baylor play Texas. We got beat, but using our 4th string quarterback we still played them tight!

Had a good time at Katie and Tommy’s house!
s
It’s their baby Meredith’s birthday! It was easy to tell where the party was!
s

Ashley brought Penelope. Always a blessing to be around my angel baby.

s

Penelope is beautiful, too!

Lovely colors.

Podcast! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:12 pm

I had fun recording today!
s

Are you ever surprised by the size of the “small” drink these days? We can approach life in the same way! Get a taste of Verbal Surgery in “One Cup.”
s

Just click on the title and GROOVE!

Jesse spent the night at our house last night as he is getting his car worked on.

Enjoyed eating lunch with him.

The kids were fun today at the mission.
s
I fixed the video game system. The kids were happy about that.
s

Jesse is building his super computer for the VR stuff. Fun to see him at work.
s

Admin duties now.

I thought this was an amazing display at Walmart.
s

I’m a big Yoda fan! I’ve enjoyed all the new Yoda toys. I collect them. I have things from the 70s.

s

The burger boxes at Hardees look like they came from the video game Black Ops III. Amazing.
s

Nice zipper clouds today.
s

Love the colors.
s
s

s
Haven’t run in over a month due to a pulled muscle in my foot. Felt fine.

Always something beautiful to see.
s
s

Got the dvd I’d burned into the mail for VA Tech. Took a while to get their address from them.
s

Cleaned window around the house.
s

I found this opossum in the bottom of a trash can!
s

Let him loose in our big wood pile. I wonder how long he’d been in that trash can?
s
Weird, hairless, prehensile tail.
s
Raked leaves along the side of my house.

Went to our church office to check on the mail.

s

Enjoyed working at the mission with the kids.
s

The girls helped me add up all the numbers for the teams who have come to work with us.
s
s
1,919 people this year! Great job, Ashley!

Great to have volunteers!
s

Got Jesse’s car started, then drove it to T&G to get worked on. I was glad Gregorio was there to help me jump it off. That little battery in my car doesn’t do the trick.

J and I enjoyed playing Star Wars Battlefront this evening.
s

Admin duties now.

Funny.

Penelope! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:17 pm

We got some great news today: Penelope came home! GREAT to see how fast she’s recovered from all the birth trauma.

Ashley is her usual awesome self. She has a wonderful attitude and is making a terrific mom already! Big thanks to Miles for keeping us in the loop during this journey!

Had a good lunch with Kathy. I liked the roses outside the restaurant.
s

Enjoyed working with the kids at the mission. I had a family to help me today.
s
s

Visited with Ash, Miles and the baby this evening on my way home. Pure awesomeness.

Editing! Mailouts! Podcast! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 12:21 am

Put the Christmas newsletter and calendar in the mail Sunday night.
s
Also put balloons at Ashley and Miles’ house and at our mailbox.

s
This morning I finished editing the video for the team from Beaver Creek Baptist Church.
s

Updated my twitter feed with more witticisms. They are my version of sermon notes.
s
Sewed up one of my favorite tshirts.
d

Also sent an email asking where to send the DVDs I burned to the team from Tennessee and Virginia.

Spent about an hour on the phone with Comcast negotiating a new contract for the next 12 months. Apparently, October was the last month of a 2 year promotion. So my rate went up about $50! I got a new rate just a couple of dollars more expensive than what I had been paying and get a lot better download/upload speeds.

New podcast! WOOT! I really like this episode. Women having babies are courageous! Try something new with “Birth Courage!”
Just click on the title and GROOVE!
Paid bills and got them to the street.
s
s

Loaded up my car with things to take back to our storage area at FBC Doraville.
