Got about 1/8″ of rain yesterday.

This morning I produced my newsletter.

Sent it to our friend at the Atlanta Metro Baptist Association for publishing.
Went through our mailing list and took out the people that we haven’t heard from in a year. I mark the labels with a red dot if they haven’t given.

In the March mailing, the people who haven’t given will get a special third page asking them if they still want to receive the paper copy.

We had about 25 people that fit into that category.
Ate lunch with Kathy, Ashley and Penelope.

I love this baby so much.

I usually take Penelope on walkabout. I let the girls finish eating.

Met up with Ashley in Clarkston. Penelope stayed with her Dad tonight. She’s such a blessing.

The kids helped us with the labels.

We had a doughnuts for a treat.

Diego made a mess in the mission. I don’t get mad. I get even.

Went to the bank to deposit money.
Dropped Ashley back at her house then headed home to spend time with K and work on admin duties.
My neighbor is building a huge fence it’s going to ruin the view from one side of our house.

Beauty.

Enjoyed lunch with Ashley, Penelope and Kathy. The Magnificent Baby and I went on walkabout.

I watched Penelope this afternoon while Ash visited with a friend of hers. Brought her back to Clarkston, then off to the mission to work with the kids.

She has a splinter in her toe. I’ll get it out soon.

Rainy weather made the drive extra long. Penelope was sad and cried and cried. We stopped at Chic-Fil-A on the way home. She got to play and eat some sandwich.
Came home to watch Murdoch’s Mysteries with K.
Admin duties now.
Tiny beauty.

I like this.

Totally agree.

Today, I spent time updating my Twitter feed. I upload my sermon notes to my automated server. It releases five a day starting at 7pm every hour.

I have material uploaded until 4.4.17.
I met up with Ashley and Penelope at their house, then went to FBC Doraville to meet up with some new friends from NC, outside of Raleigh: Bryan, Tom and Barry.

We took them on Safari to Plaza Fiesta. Then to the Hindu Temple at Global Mall. The Koran library at Al Madina and the amazing diversity of cultures that is the Buford Highway Farmers Market.

The girls and I love to show friends around our area.

She’s so beautiful.

After we said goodbye to our team, we went to Walmart to do the shopping. Lot of stuff today. I’m glad to be able to help Ashley’s family a little bit here and there. Hard to believe that I’m nearly 60 and my Mom is still doing it for me!

High score again for Battlefront. Fun!

The meat that tastes you back.

But needs spell check.

Saturday evening I concentrated on finishing up the team from N. GA. Uploaded all the pictures I took, edited the video I shot, uploaded that to You Tube, sent the link of the gallery and the video to the director of the team, burned a DVD and got it in the mail.

Sunday morning, I went to Westside Baptist Church.

The staff sang a special.

Pastor spoke on prayer, a subject dear to my heart.

On the way home, I stopped at Lowes to pick up a new toilet seat.
Got home and realized I got the wrong size. Back to Lowes to get the right one.

Also got a watering can for applying the Oxyclean solution to the carpet when I deep scrub, and a mini phalaenopsis orchid.

The toilet seat was kind of hard to install because it was so tight to get tools in.

I like the brand. I can say “I go to church every day. Sometimes two or three times.”

Cleaned and painted my shoes with a flat white enamel spray paint.

Watered my plants.
Played some Battlefront. I’ve been owning that game lately.

Just scanned and made a PDF of a tax document that got to my house a week after the deadline.

Admin duties now.
Really?

Beauty!

This morning I worked on the Granular List: all the cities in Georgia within about an hour drive.

I have 21 more cities to work on.
Met up with Ashley in Clarkston. Then over to FBC Doraville with Penelope. We made some new friends from Tennessee: Celeste and Talice. We took them on Safari Global Mall and Al Madina, then over to the Buford Highway Farmers Market.

Hindu temple.

Penelope loves her blue bucket.

Dropped AP back at their house and I went home. Such a warm, loving family.

Working on Admin duties now.
High scoring again in Battlefront. That game is so much fun.

Pink face!

Went to Clarkston to pick up Ashley and Penelope. We drove to FBC Doraville to check the mail. Met up with our friend Joel Harrison of the Atlanta Metro Baptist Association. He’s helping us print our newsletters and promo material.
We had a fun lunch and talked about the future of missions in our area.
Dropped the girls back to their house and came home.
Working on the admin duties and plan on doing research later.
Took Jesse and Kathy out for pizza.
Then went to Eagle Eye bookstore to meet Mark Greaney the author of the Gray Man series. One of my favorites!

Tuesday I did a deep scrub on the areas with the high traffic areas.

Today, I got the machine and cleaned the house.

Took the machine back to Lowes.

This morning I got all of the documents necessary to get K’s new driver’s license.

I wrote thank you notes to supporters who had sent money for Dad’s memorial to Whirlwind Missions.

Worked at them mission with the kids. They helped me push Penelope around. We had other volunteers today.

P liked dancing in the back of the truck. Her shoes made really nice tapping sounds.

Got J’s boots from our tailor.

Gassed up my car.

Admin duties now.
Pink Magnolias are starting to bloom. This is my favorite tree.

My little trees are starting to bloom, too!

Beautiful clouds.

Had a fun lunch with our friends from Peachtree Corners Baptist Church. They’ll be leading a group of middle and high schoolers this Summer.

I dropped the girls off at their house and came home.
Sorted out bills with our medicine delivery people. I have a new debit card so have to update the information.

Went back to the mission to work with the kids.
Had fun with Penelope on bikes and a plastic car.

Big pile of girls followed us around and had fun.

Then she wanted to push the car.

Always trash to pick up.

Took Jesse over to Plaza Fiesta to get his jacket sewn up. Then we ate pizza at Cicis.
Came home to watch Netflix with K.
Admin duties now.
High score in Battlefront.

Beautiful sunset.

This morning, I worked on updating accounts with my new debit card number. Seems like my card gets hacked about once a year.

Sorted my vitamins. Ordered more.

Kathy and I went to Stone Mill church to support Ashley who was talking to the Youth Group.

Pastor Tito Ruiz has been like a brother to me for over twenty years. He baptized two kids today. Amen!

Normally, I take Penelope on “Walkabout.” I just let her wander and talk to her and interact with objects. Today, I focused on colors. The walls in hall outside where Ashley was speaking were painted in bright primary colors.
She enjoys trying new things.
First time to climb stairs holding rails.

I let her try, then help her up.

Ashley did great. No surprise there.

She’s so beautiful.
We went to Santa Fe Mall to check out food places and pinatas.

We decided to eat Chinese instead.
P’s first lollypop.

Came home to rest.
Cleaned fish tank.

Admin duties now.
You can tell Penelope was here.
