Conclave Chattanooga!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:06 pm

Friday, I drove to Chattanooga for Conclave which is a meeting for Youth Directors.

There were about 1,000 people there from over 300 churches. I spent time getting packets together to hand out at the conference.

I still wasn’t feeling well so after doing a recon of the location, I went back to my hotel to rest.

I stayed at Knight’s Inn in Lookout Valley. Way cheaper. And I like the view.

This morning I spent hours talking to people at the conference and handing out promo materials.

The displays for the ministries and camps were pretty incredible. It costs over $500 just to have a spot there.

I decided just hanging out in the halls talking to people was probably just as effective.

I did see a few people I knew there. They all talked about how working with us was one of the best mission trips ever. Made me feel good.

I also had people tell me that they had seen our mail outs. Also a win.

The conference was over at noon and I pretty much came straight home. My feet were tired from standing up.

Enjoyed watching Raising Hope with Kathy. She’s feeling better tonight. Fever is gone.

Admin duties now.

I saw this at an antique store. Funny.
