ISS! Grandgirls! Stone Mountain! Geese! Shoes! 8.4.20
Last night and this evening I saw the International Space Station for the 59th and the 60th times! It’s been a fun project over several years.
I studied Spanish and did my brain training.
Enjoyed working with the girls. I’m preparing them for a T-shirt and tie-dye project soon. I showed them how we’re going use rubber bands and squirt the shirts with water pistols filled with ink.
I still have a few things to get together before we can do the project. It’s going to be a lot of fun!
Rained slightly over an inch yesterday.
The girls helped me clean out the bird baths and put the food out.
We had fun building a little fort today.
I’m always trying to teach them something about nature. Today we found a katydid.
I used the egg timer to help me keep them still while I brushed tangles out.
I took my first trip inside Walmart in over three months. I needed to get the girls some new shoes and flip-flops. We got all masked up and I put them in a shopping cart.
I figured out a way I could open up the cart so I didn’t have to lift them over the edge. They’re too heavy for me to do that sort of stuff.
I got them some Minnie Mouse and Frozen shoes. They really liked them.
We went to Stone Mountain to feed some geese and the fish that were beside the shoreline. I’m always teaching them to make sure and be clean.
Got groceries, cleaned them, and brought them inside.
It was cooler than it’s been for a while.
Capped off the evening with another viewing of the International Space Station.
I’ve enjoyed playing Far Cry Primal. Nothing much cooler than running through a forest with a white cave lion by my side for protection!
