Went to Tucker Rehab to check on her. Neither of the beds in the room worked. Turned out it was a breaker that had been thrown.

They were giving her a vitamin concoction when I got there.

Listened to Don Cheto while I drove to Tucker and back.

The girls and I hiked to the top of Stone Mountain this afternoon. I was proud of all of us! So beautiful up there.

Always something interesting to see!

We hiked up and down the mountain which is about 2.5 miles in two hours.

K and I went to see Nana. She pulled the muscle in her leg again. She’s disappointed by the set back.

K and I picked up the girls at the Doggie Park. Jimmy goes there every day with his dog, Ruby. I had fun inventing obstacle courses for the girls using the playground.

Gassed up my car and checked the oil.

I took the girls to Walmart to get supplies. Someone had left a pineapple behind the crackers.

New week. New students.

Mom’s leg was hurting a bit today. She felt a little down about that. She had a nurse come in an ask whether she had called the police! Someone else called and gave their room number, I reckon.

I called her PT folks to get the therapy set up for when she comes home. Hopefully soon!

Pollen is still bothering my eyes. Seems to be a little better.

I went to Tucker Rehab to check on my Mom. She’s working hard to get stronger and is making real improvement! She was able to get up from the bed, onto her walker, go to the bathroom and get up and down from the toilet on her own. The PT gave her some good suggestions and exercises to work on.

Deepstash has changed their format a bit. Still getting used to it.

Red zone for pollen. My eyes seem to be the most affected this year.

I took K to her lung doctor. Doesn’t look like anything pathological. Bottom line, she needs to lose weight. A lot.

Called the oxygen supply place to check on K’s mobile oxygen.

Set up the follow up appointment with her lung doctor for Oct 12.

Took K to Donnies. It’s one of our favorites.

Good talk with Matt Goins about the mission trip in April.

I drove the Honda to Lowes to get plywood. Gassed her up and checked the oil.

Ordered groceries.

Went to Lowes for plywood to help redo Nana’s bed. I got six 2×4′ pieces. I’ll have to trim some of the boards.

Visited Nana at Tucker Rehab. She had a hard night because the power went out and she couldn’t lie down. The bed wouldn’t go flat. Bahd luck.

Went by Walgreens and picked up Nana’s BP meds.

Picked up groceries. J helped me bring some of it in. My elbow was bothering me.

Keeping up with medical appointments takes time.

Cleaned and filled birdbaths. I need to get a new hose to replace this one with the hole.

Got a text from a team leader coming in June. May be some changes involved.

Did my laundry including my blue hoodie and blue jeans.

Got clothes and other things my Mama needs at the rehab place.

Took them to her around 1 PM. I had to park across the street at the middle school.

She was happy about the treats I’d left.

Measured the height of the bed at the rehab center. We’ll aim for that at home. I used the Measure app on my phone.

Ashley came by to see me today. She’s in 8th grade. Her family moved up to Ackworth about an hour away. It takes some getting used to because the school is almost completely white people.

The dogwoods are fantastic. FBC Doraville has them.

I went by myself today. Kathy stayed home. There hasn’t been much homework and she didn’t feel needed. PE and I ate at Bojangles. Then to White Windmill for treats.

I had a lot of kids today.

Chapstick malfunctioned.

I was able to find the headphones and adaptor for my Mom’s iPad.

Big rainbows. I saw one make the full half circle. Couldn’t shoot the picture and drive! Honestly, I would have had to shoot panoramic mode because it was so big.
