My sweet angel Everly’s 9th birthday today! Wish I could’ve been with her.
Got below 70 degrees in my bedroom last night. I had the window open with my fan blowing in the cool air. I have a second fan blowing on me. I stopped the fan blowing on me and fired up my bluetooth Tewell amp to play fan noise.
Pray that Jessi will feel better.
Looks like Fall is here.

After thirty years, some rust had accumulated on my handlebars. I ordered Rust-oleum chrome paint and extra fine grit sandpaper last week. First thing to do was to mask off the bike. Spray paint can make a mess.
I got all the rust off and the metal was pretty smooth.
The spray painted handle bars.
I put on some new hand grips. This system looks kind of tacky, but it works great.
Checked my bike out. Aired up the tires.
I put my bag back on the new painted handle bars. They look great.
Had a great ride with fantastic weather.
Supa coo con trail.
Got gas and checked the fluids.
Beautiful evening.
Ordered some new rubber gloves.
Got the groceries.
Push.

Went to Five Below to pick out some gifts for Everly’s 9th birthday! Took them home and wrapped everything up for her.
Wrapped up Miles’ new socks.
Wrote my newsletter.
K and I picked up the girls at the bus and took them to Ponko Chicken for our birthday party. She seemed to really like the presents I got her.
Always great to be with the girls.
I told the girls that the to-go boxes were hats. I thought they looked pretty cool.
I heard this hurricane could be beyond a Category 5.
It’s Hispanic Heritage Month. Everly’s Flaggarette group performed. Jimmy and Cheryl Kendall came to Huntley Hills Elementary School too. Ashley and Miles always give enthusiastic support to their children. I think that’s super important.
A lot of the Azalea kids were there.
I liked the decorations.
The Chorus sang.
I thought the group did great.
Just, you know the drill.

I’m planning on renovating the handlebars on my bike. I’ve got extra fine grit sandpaper to get rid of the little bit of rust. Then I’ll spray it with the Rust-oleum Chrome paint.
Got up early today.
I checked out this external battery for K. I wanted to make sure it was working.
Brain training.
Interesting.
Substantial thunderstorms just north of us. We got lot of thunder and some sprinkles.
OYB!
Cooler.
Took Nana to the eye doctor this morning. She did very well.
Filled up my feeder can.
I noticed these in my back yard.
I spent an hour or so going through medical stuff for K. Typed up current medicine list, and dosages of the GLP-1.
Did research on different companies distributing Semaglutide.
Went by my office to check on the mail.
K and I picked up the girls and took them to the BHFM.
Helped the kids at the Mission.
Jealous.

Flicker Light Stimulation is what my Lumenate device is based on. Powerful tech!
Ordered groceries.
These work!
How many of these did you know?
OYB!
I’ll take Nana to the eye doctor tomorrow.
Came in second place. Good effort.
I hadn’t seen that stat before: 123 times.
After a couple of years, these batteries don’t charge up well. Replacement time again.
I went to Aztec Cycle in Stone Mountain to get the brake cable on my bike repaired this morning.
I put the bike on the car rack and it rode perfectly. When I put tape over every connector, that pretty much guarantees that it’s not coming loose from the body of the car.
Yonas did a great job of getting it repaired and dialed in.
Got home safely and locked her up.
I put the bike rack back in storage.
I’m trying to get K’s GLP-1 figured out. Involves doing research on the companies, what they offer and for what price. Not easy.
K and I picked up the girls at the bus (3:10 PM) and I got my choice today which is always Taco Veloz.
The joy of churros.
Went to Lowes to make more keys for the Mission. I gave my spare to Ms. Jones.
Helped the kids.
Beauty.
Art by Everly.
Picked up the groceries. Lots of heavy things this week including drinks and dog food bag. I just make lots of trips.
Just keep doing it. It’s all about the repetition.
