Spanish! Podcast! 2.13.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:25 pm

Had nearly an inch of rain yesterday. Certainly has been a wet February!

Did my brain training, breath work, and studied Spanish this morning.

Recorded a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “Old News.”

Big limb fell from a tree not far from my house this morning. Glad it didn’t hit anything fragile.

I got a new pitcher plant today. I always enjoy adding to my plant collection.

It’s called Nepenthes Ventricosa. The plants are originally from the Philippines.

The ones I buy are probably grown from seed and raised here in the USA. It’s a carnivorous plant like a Venus Fly Trap. The difference it is a passive trap were insects get trapped in the pitchers and get digested there.

Here’s another type of Nepenthes I have in my collection.
