Videos! Podcast! Bike! 8.30.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:06 pm

One of the apps I use every day is called Sleep Cycle. It tracks the amount of sleep I get every night. It’s funny because it can be a placebo or a nocebo. If I sleep and it says I only got five hours of sleep it seems like I’ll immediately get tired! It’s rare for me to get 100% like I did last night.

I studied Spanish and did my brain training.

I also watched some of my telenovela in Spanish called La Reina del Sur.

I went to Stone Mountain to do some recording. Recorded a new podcast Verbal Surgery. “Ladder Truck” has some fun stories!

Also did a series of videos for friends as well as a promo video for a conference that I’ll be doing over the Internet for my Brazilian fans. Hundreds of people participate in that so it’s a lot of fun.

Had a good talk with Anthony and some friends of his and his family.

The flowers continue to grow. I wish the grandgirls could see them live but taking pictures is a good substitute.

I rode my bike 15.24 miles.

My weather app said it felt like 99°. Even on a bike it was hot and I sweated a lot.

I went through all of my scripture memory and poems that I know. It usually takes a little over an hour to do all that quotation.

I pumped my bike tires up before I left.

I had a dream last night about finding two baby copperhead snakes. I had the girls and some kids from school and I made sure they were safe. It was interesting because a possum was attacking the copperhead and eating it. Possums are immune to snake venom as long as the snake’s not super big. I saw a snake today on my ride that looked almost exactly like this one, but it’s not a copperhead.

The last few times I’ve ridden my bike I’ve seen photographs on the ground although most of them we’re upside down. Today, I flipped them over and took a series of pictures. It was interesting to see snap shots of someone’s life that for some reason had been discarded.

Beautiful clouds today.

I got home just as the rain started.
