Laundry!

Watered my downstairs plants.

Started propagating cuttings from the Japanese Laurel plant by my window. I’ve had the little branches in water for the last couple of weeks. It recommended that I put the plants in a mixture of perlite and soil that is wet rather than just water.

I had to wash and drain the perlite until the water runs pretty clear. I did it five times. Rinse, wash, repeat.

Set up the work area. I have a tarp to keep my floor clean.

Trimmed half of each leaf off to reduce the water necessary for the roots. Mixed soil in the with perlite. Very wet, almost slushy.

I threw the rest away.

Rather than making a bunch of individual planters, I’ll keep all the plants together in the flat container. You can see the soil mix in the closeup shot.

Went to the bank to deposit checks. Thank you, Father.

I got the bike rack out so I can take Beauty to Aztec Cycle for repair. Brake cable needs to be replaced. I’ll get a general tune up while it’s in there.

Paid my property taxes.

Swept my outside carpet area. I shook out and hung up the tarp to dry.

I have my gloves folded inside out so the fan can dry out the fingers.

Put the bike rack on the Honda.

Went to Stone Mountain to record “Pressurized.” Released it.

My goal is to be in the top three. I’ve had a score this high one week and came in fifth.
