Colquitt County! Gateway! Plaza Fiesta! Missions!
Rained last night. Got about 1/4″. Our power went out for about 30 minutes. That’s not zesty.
Edited the video for the Bridge Church!
Ashley and I did our “Take the Church, To the People” and “Logistics” briefings PLUS a briefing on Catholicism as it’s practiced in the International Village.
That’s because we had a new team from Colquitt County! FIVE churches near Moultrie in S. Georgia partnered together to bring a wonderful group.
We enjoyed Plaza Fiesta!
We had fun with the masks.
And hats!
And the horses!
Sparkly boots!
Pastor Ron lookin’ good!
There was even a camel!
And signs from Pancho Villa!
And some things too bizarre to understand.
I even got some new cologne. Eau de Toilette, actually. Never really liked that term. Always reminds me of the dog drinking out of the toilet. But I liked the smell!
And the name! Seems apropos.
Then on to the missions! Always fun to hang out with the teams.
Ash and I stopped by Office Depot to pick up some more card stock paper. We use them for response cards from our teams.
Feeling tired. Tomorrow starts another team! This one will be in the evening from 6-9pm. Makes for a long day! Pray for me!
Ashley and Miles are going to speak at a Youth Camp in Tennessee this weekend. They leave tomorrow morning and will be gone till Sunday night. They’ll be missed! Pray for their safe trip!
With the rain comes mushrooms! I love these tiny little shrooms.
