Wrote and produced my newsletter. Dropped it off at FBC Doraville.

Studied outside even though it was freezing.

Worked on repairing the towel rack. It’s a little better.
Tracked Jim and Katie’s plane from Austin. They were over 2.5 hours late. Not a big fan of SW Airlines.
This is not all my exercise, just what I track with Runkeeper.
Got my money back from Oscar health insurance.
Short chat with Anthony.
Deepstash.
Checked the mail at my office.
Processed and deposited checks.
Went by to see Ashley and the girls at her house. Everly came with me to the airport to pick up my brother Jim and his daughter Katie.
We met them at the airport when them came up the big escalator. They have a huge screen to see who’s coming. We rode MARTA back to Chamblee.
Sweet reunion!
Keep going.
January 17th is Nana’s birthday.

Much warmer today.
We took them for Curry at Masala in Decatur. After eating, we visited some of the Indian food shops, Al Madina, and the BAPS temple. The folks at Masala gave Nana a little birthday dessert.

I’ve enjoyed reading highlights and synopses from books. Deepstash is a fun app.
I took Nana to get her hair done.
I updated my iPhone 16 Pro Max to the latest iOS. I noticed this UC after the 5G today. Wasn’t sure what that meant. Do you?
Transferred some money around in my different accounts
I had a fun lunch with my buddy Jon Paul. He’s the treasurer for Whirlwind Missions.
Talked with Georgia Access about K’s health insurance. I think we got it almost figured out. There’s still a matter of getting reimbursed for the money that Oscar Health Insurance took without our permission. I took some notes.
I put some little velcro connectors on my Mom’s jacket. It needed to close in the front.
I added another neodymium magnet to the hide a key to keep it in place. I tried to make the job more comfortable. Those magnets are supposed to hold up over 100 lbs. What?!
My brother’s coming into town tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting him at the airport. I had a good talk with him to describe what to do after he gets off the plane and where I’ll meet him.
I checked with Chat GPT to make sure that the instructions were correct for the South West airline gate. I’ve traveled with Delta a lot. Just a few times with SW.
I wrote my newsletter. Still need to produce and print out the BW copy for the photocopier.
Paid a hospital bill.
J is moving her computer into her bedroom now that she has space for it. I cleaned and organized the wires in preparation for putting it back together.
Worked on the schedule for the teams I have coming. I need to make sure who, when and how many people are coming!
Got a text from Ashley last night that Penelope had fallen. They took her to urgent care and those guys told her to take her to the Emergency Room. Sure enough she had a compound fracture of her forearm. They put a huge cast on her. She was in good spirits the whole time.
OYB!
I got under K’s car to put the hide a key back. I had one of them fall off a couple of years ago, so I put the new one inside of a nylon sock with neodymium magnets on each side. That won’t fall off, but it’s hard to get to since it’s under the car. It’s especially problematic when it’s raining, like it was last week when K forgot the car keys in the car. She couldn’t get under the car so I came to do it for her.
I’m enjoying Deepstash.
K and I went to Azalea to check on the girls and the Mission. Too cold to do it outside today. Wind was blowing and felt like freezing!
Ash took Everly home with her and K and I took P to Cici’s Pizza. We also went to the pet store and Dick’s to check out sporting goods. She had a good Face Time with J.
Went to Publix to get big 90 balloons and treats for the party on Sunday. Looking forward to having my brother in town for the festivities!
I have nine teams coming to work with me so far and just had a tenth team confirm today.
I’ll work on this soon.
While I was at Cici’s, I heard Doves Cry and it reminded me of being in Kenya when I first heard it. Sent a text to my buddy Joe who had sent me a tape recording of it. I also forwarded him a list of some music I’ve listened to recently.
Keep learning.

Took Nana to the doctor to have her blood pressure meds, knees and shoulder checked out. We got referrals to other specialists to get her some help.
I’ve been enjoying Deepstash. Lots of interesting things to read and think about. Better than just doom scrolling.
Ordered groceries.
I just got a text from Ashley. Looks like Penelope may have broken her arm. I’m sure I’m crying more than she is. Father, help everything go ok and strengthen her with your calm and love. Amen.
I’ll be taking some folks from FBA around the International Village soon. They want their children’s choir to sing at Plaza Fiesta.
K and I helped the kids at Azalea with their homework.
Sunset!
Picked up groceries. We show a bar code now.
Took bins to the curb.
Keep pushing.

I’ve been playing with a new friend online. He’s helped me a lot. New high score.
I’m interested in the development of the game. I use Chat GPT for that.
Vocabulario.
OYB!
Came in fourth place last week.
I checked on this price to make sure it was right. I may need to call them too.
I paid the annual corporate fee for this year.
Ashley picked up the girls. It’s so cold outside that it’s hard to help the mission kids. I needed the extra time for projects so it all worked out.
Got my new AAA card in today.
Ordered more caulk for the chimney.
I worked on the donor tax letters. I had to order more supplies before I was finished. My HP printer for some reason stopped working with the third party ink cartridges. The guy at Walmart said they’d just done an update to keep people from saving money with other than HP ink. Also got more labels and sheet protectors.
These suddenly stopped working.
These HP cartridges worked perfectly.
I had the donation spreadsheet, the address labels and the tax letter all open at the same time. It was pretty complicated. I had three categories to split the letters into: churches (who don’t need tax letters), donors who gave and the few who didn’t.
Deposited checks. Thank you, Father!
Got gas and checked the oil.
Very different group from last week.

Rainy day! Weather didn’t let the caulk dry out very well that I did yesterday. Hopefully, it’ll be fine in a few days.
Refilled my vitamins.
I’ve already installed iOS 26.
Arc Raiders in one of my favorite games ever.
I had a short chat with my buddies Anthony and Marcus in England.
I brought my carnivores back inside. Supposed to get really cold tomorrow.
Maximum cuteness.
I got a new app called Deepstash. It gives me lots of quotations and the best of many books. It’s a paid app. I’m on the free trial now.
Kathy locked her keys in the car. The hide a key is too hard for her to get to. it’s under the car. I brought some trash bags to keep me drier. The key worked fine. Didn’t take very long.
Did laundry.
Recorded and released a new episode of Verbal Surgery called, “Partly Cloudy.” It’s a good one.
