Went to see Last Jedi again. I enjoyed the second go through. Definitely saw things that I missed.

These movies look intriguing to me.

Right screen number.

Went to the ATT store to find out more info on adding international calls to my plan. Turns out it costs $60/month. BUT you reimbursed for days you don’t use. So I’ll sign up the day before I leave.

Worked on planning my trip. I usually start getting serious about two weeks in advance. This trip I’ve been getting ready for over nine months.

Gassed up my car. $3.35.

UPS delivery to my doorstep.

I did some bubbles with Penelope.

She’s so much fun.

Studied Portuguese this morning. Subjunctives.

Went to Buckhead to go to the Brazilian Consulate to get my visa. Outside their building I found this.

100 up in the Dirty Money game with Ashley.

It was super cold this morning. Wind chill of 12 degrees.

I had all my documents in order. It was cool to see the consulate.

I loved the buildings in the area.

Full sun moon flower.

Had to go to the Post Office to get a money order for the visa. They didn’t take personal checks.

I recorded a new episode of Verbal Surgery while I waited for the Post Office to open. It’s called, “Goalitos.” Little goals. It’ll release next week.

Interesting reflection.
We had fun at Perimeter Mall. We tried to get Ashley’s Mac looked at.

What?!
Awesome Ashley.

Sweetheart Everly.

Dropped off some clothes on the way home.

Also went to the bank to get five rolls of nickles. I’m making TimBits out of them. It’s quite a process.

I determine how big the pictures need to be. Then make a page full of them.

Cut all those sweet little Tim heads out.

Then I laminate the pictures using wrapping tape and cut them out.

Then hot glue the laminated picture to the nickle.

My goal was a hundred. I think I may make more, just in case.

Wrote a new chapter in my book. “Zebra Meat.”

Studied Portuguese this morning. Still aiming for my trip to Brazil in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, this evening I’ll have my tickets and can do the visa application.

Sent my mileage log to Ashley.

Took my Mom to the airport.

I got a gate pass and was able to push her wheelchair all the way to the gate. Amen!

After dropping Mom off at the airport, I went to the office to pick up the mail and water my ficus.

Ashley and I got the envelopes labeled, stuffed and sent out. Can’t believe I didn’t get any pictures of the girls! I watched them while Ashley went to the Mac repair store. Still didn’t get it completely squared away.

After Ashley got back, we finished the newsletters and then I went to the Post Office to get them in the mail.

Beautiful colors today.

Went to the UPS store to get a overnight return self addressed envelope for the Brazilian visa.

The application has to be done online.

I’m still waiting for the tickets so I can complete the application.
Here’s the picture I’m going to use.

I’ve been in a conversation with my host this evening. He assures me it will all work out this evening. Hope so.

I’m supposed to go to the Brazilian consolate between 8am and 10am tomorrow. The visa application has to be done on line before that.

The Tesla was a big hit.

My yard man came by to blow the roof and clean the gutters.

We kept Penelope over night. That usually means I don’t do my admin duties until the next day. So . .

MERRY NEW YEAR! 2018! May it be the best year EVER!

Ashley, Penelope, Everly and Nana had a great time with the CRU group this morning.

It’s beautiful there.

We sorted the addresses to keep the teams close to each other.

Interesting decoration.

Each group got a bag with block party supplies and two large drinks.

After our briefing of the teams we went to Sabor do Brazil. I liked the signage in Portuguese!

We went to the square in Marietta. Penelope loved the train.

The teams did a great job at the mission. The nearly 400 people covered 30 locations in 7 cities.

We confirmed payment for our new insurance for 2018. Good news on that. Way to go, ASHLEY!

Always great to share the girls!

I found some old pictures from France.
