I went to Peachtree Corners BC this morning for their missions conference. I gave them a history of our partnership then did the prayer and Red Thread sessions.

Getting ready for the missions conference at PCBC tomorrow morning. I always look forward to that!

I’m making progress on getting connected with the current NoZe Brotherhood. Always fun.

I worked on getting all my outdoor plants back inside. They only spend six months outdoors. I washed and cleaned them before moving them in. I also put down garbage bags to try and keep the floor cleaner.

I’ve had this plant rooting in water. Put her in soil today.

Swept my carpet area.

I brought most of my deck plants into our living room.

This was the heaviest thing I moved. Wow. Glad I had a dolly.

Vacuumed the house.

Cleaned the rugs.

I was tired after it was done.

Good this good message about next weekend.

I got a solid contact of a current NoZe Brother today. That’s always good.

Went to Dollar Tree to pick up some pens for the conference this weekend.

Never seen this kind of plate before.

I got some small trashcans to use as pots. Had to drill holes in the bottom of them for drainage. Picked up a couple of big bags of potting mix from Lowes. They were heavy.

I cleared out from around the base of the plants so I could tell where to dig.

I got all the banana plants and bromeliads moved inside to their wintering spot inside the house.

Nothing left now.

Moved my pineapple plant and the other bromeliads outside near my door. I’ll bring all the rest of the plants in tomorrow if all goes well.

Last job is to clean off the shovels and spray them with WD 40 again. Better than nothing.

Took me around an hour to do it all.

Worked on K’s Civil Rights test. I’ve taken it before.

Looks like the weather is going to turn cold. That’s what motivated me to get the plants in.

Contacted one of the brothers in Waco.

I’ll come in first place this week, I reckon.

Hurricane Milton was a very serious storm.

I’m handing out prayer cards this weekend. I decided to put magnets on them. More likely to be put up. I’ll need to cut the pieces and put them on the cards on Saturday.

Nice fresh air this morning. I put my fan near the window to ventilate my room. I’ve been kind of sick. Seems cleaner now with the new air.

Blew the garage and most of the driveway.

I’m glad this baby rose bush is doing better. I cut it down to the ground with my weed whacker once and it nearly died from lack of water recently. She’s proven to be very robust. I put rocks around her and am much more conscientious about watering her.

Did my laundry.

Watered my plants. I’m starting to get the things I need to dig them up and put each in a large pot. I’m not leaving those plants outside to freeze again.

Went to FBC Doraville to get what I need for the Peachtree Corners Baptist Church missions conference. I’ll be doing a prayer session with them which includes the Red Thread ceremony. I cut about 100 pieces. I decided it’d be faster to roll it all out then go down every foot or so and cut the thread.

Helped the kids at the missions. They have their Fall Break next week so no-one had homework today. We did some art projects.

Talked to my Mom and our friend Jodie Steger as well.

I called Chris, the man who makes the prayer cards, this morning. I’m getting a repeat order. He gave me a code so that I got double my order for the same price. Amen.

Anthony is in Prague now. I chatted with him briefly before he realized he may be roaming. We immediately hung up. That can run into gigantic money right quick.

Refilled the night animals food.

Cleaned and refilled the birdbaths and feeders.

Sent a text to my health insurance guy. I’m supposed to get in touch with him tomorrow, but he’s been out of town. Not sure if he’ll be ready for business. He didn’t answer my text, which is unusual. Hope he’s not caught up in the Milton mess.

Deposited a large check. Thank you, Father.

Kathy and I met the girls at the bus. Penelope wasn’t feeling well. Felt hot and hardly ate.

We ate at the airport.

Helped the kids with their homework. One of my high school girls had homework like this. Chat GPT taught me how to do it.

Got my confirmation as to when and for how long I’ll be talking at the conference at Peachtree Corners BC this weekend.

Ordered groceries.

Went to eat lunch at the Local Republic in Lawrenceville today. Met up with my good friend Todd Harrison. He’s been a solid rock for our ministry.

I need to get more prayer cards. I’ll be in touch with Chris tomorrow.

Milton looks to be a monster.

I rarely see these Consul license plates.

Picked up the girls. We ate at the Buford Highway Farmers Market. Then to the mission to work with the kids.

Kathy needs distilled water so she can use her CPAP machine to breathe. My Walmart is out. So are the Chamblee and Norcross stores. I went to two Publixes and found five gallons at the second one. Amen. Thank you, Lord.

Another big storm headed for Florida. It’s the new normal. The last two screen shots are of a storm headed towards England. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

Exciting month! I have Fall Break with the girls next week as well as a conference and a team in town. Then head to Texas for a few days. Good times!

I think sewing is one of the most useful skills I have. Worked on some short pants this morning.

I let Anthony know when we were hanging out together over the years. I know when it happened because I wrote it all down in my OYB. Ashley and I were at his house in Derby, England ten years ago today.

I took Everly to the Oddities store today. The museum costs $10 each so I’ll wait for Penelope to come with us to see that. It’s definitely my kind of place.

Penelope is in Drama Club this year. Everly and I picked her up at Huntley Hills Elementary School.

Helped the kids at the mission.

Went by my office to get the mail and process the checks. Also watered my ficus. It needs watering about every two to three weeks.
