Cleaned and refilled my feeders and bird baths.

K and I went to Guero’s for Mexican food. Then picked up groceries.

I got extra distilled water for a project that J is working on.

The kids at the mission haven’t had any homework for a couple of weeks now. Everything is winding down. Ashley had the day off today, so I decided to save some gas and stay home. I need the rest.

I enjoyed reading this in Spanish last night. That was cool to me because the conversations in the book were all originally en Español.

Went to Publix to pick up J’s meds.

I gave up hope that my banana plants had survived the freeze last winter. I got another four plants in today. I had the last set for over six years. I’ve learned a lot about growing them since then. Main thing is that I’ll dig them up and bring them inside before it gets really cold.

I also added some soil to some cuttings of a San Pedro plant I had. I’d watched a video about putting them horizontally and placing them on soil so they’ll start to root.

Moved my pineapple, frangipani and aloe vera plants back inside. They were getting too wet. They don’t like that. Moved my fasciata into sunnier spots.

About .20″ of rain.

Cleaned off and swept my back porch and St. Francis shrine.

Got a new set of chargers for my batteries.

Caught a squirrel and took it to Chamblee.

Picked up the girls and took them to Cici’s. Then to Dick’s sporting goods and Pet Smart. I’m always looking for physical challenges for them. Everly held herself up for 40 seconds. I thought that was pretty good!

I got an email from a great friend who is changing ministry. I hope it goes well for him. It’s super hard to raise funds these days.

I had seen on a video that the application “Copilot” by Microsoft included Chat GPT4 for free. I asked GPT3 about that. Not so much.

Went to Publix to drop off a prescription for Jessi. I’ll go back tomorrow to pick it up.

I’ve been enjoying rereading sections from some of Carlos Casteneda’s books. They had a huge influence on me as a young adult.

Steve Parr interviewed me this afternoon on Zoom. He’s the Associational Director for Gwinnett county.

This caught my eye.

Picked the girls up and took them to the Buford Highway Farmers Market to eat. We had fun at Plaza Fiesta and the Sliding HIll Park.

I create obstacle courses for them. Some of the stuff is really hard, like climbing the basketball goal. Penelope reached the top and Everly was only a foot from the top. Amazing effort.

Don Cheto is always a listening challenge.

Happy Mothers Day! I had a fun talk with my Mom and took K out for Indian food. Fabulous!

Perfect weather and interesting clouds. Looked like they had tentacles.

Did some research as to when Don Cheto is on live: 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM. I’m pretty sure that is California time since they originally broadcast out of LA.

I have a lot of Brazilian friends. This is bad.

Carlos Castenada was one of my favorite and most influential authors when I was in college. Then I heard that the books were all made up. Hit me pretty hard as I had assumed the characters were real. I’ll looking at the books again. I still find them fun.

I kept hearing this word on the Don Cheto podcast. They were talking about their buzon. It’s a dream of mine to make the call in show one day.
