Tim A. Cummins @ 9:06 pm

Thursday morning I had a fun time with the youth directors in the S. Atlanta Metro area.

I’m grateful that my friend Larry Lawrence from FBC Jonesboro invited me to make a short presentation to the group about working with us in the International Village.

Larry also told me to make some copies for the people attending the Metro conference of churches. These represent the largest churches in America. Excellent!

After I talked with the group, I picked up Kathy and we drove to Dahlonega to spend the weekend.

Although the weather wasn’t very good, we still enjoyed time together. Always something beautiful to see!

I like looking at the antique stores in the area. I always find something fun and interesting to look at.

This trip I bought an old phone from 1904! It reminded me of the phone my grandparents had at their store in Reagan Wells in Texas. Cool.

Recorded a new podcast while I was in the mountains! One of my best!! Check out “Mountain Man!” Click on the title and strike it rich!

Kathy and I also took a side trip up to Amicolola Falls. It’s the tallest waterfall in Georgia and absolutely beautiful.

I also enjoyed getting a good mountain run in.

Ran about 5.02 miles up some really steep roads. Pretty hard!

K and I came back Sunday. He’s not dead! He is RISEN! I’m so glad that I serve a risen savior!

Did you know that when Jesus was crucified it says that many godly Jews came forth from the grave and walked around Jerusalem? I always read something in the Bible I don’t really remember seeing before.

Jesse, Kathy and I went to see the new Johnny Depp movie “Transcendence” this evening.

I found it interesting and I’m glad that it had a good ending and not just the same ol’ “technology taking over the world and killing all the people” idea.

Home now to work on making 70 copies of the promotional DVD we made as well as copies for the flier to give to the youth directors. It all takes time!

It looked like God was holding out his hand to me this evening.
