Podcast! Shopping! Bubbles!

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:04 pm

Recorded a new podcast this morning!
s

Yeah, baby! My voice was finally strong enough to do one. I really enjoyed making this episode called “The Long Story.” How we talk to about people and to ourselves makes a giant difference on your perception of reality.

Uploaded to my server.
s

Put the link on Facebook.
s

K and I had Hot N Cold buffet for lunch. Excellent!

I went to see Star Trek “Beyond” this afternoon. It was a good movie, but not a great one.
s

Went by Walmart to do the shopping after the movie. I thought there would be a lot less people there than in the afternoon. I was right. Wasn’t bad at all this evening.
s

I had poured down rain during the movie. Post rain always means “bubbles” to me.
s
s

K got into some poison ivy. She’s taking benadryl which makes her sleepy. At least she’s not itchy.

We call Kathy, “Mo.” I liked this license plate.

Lookout Valley! Chattanooga!

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:43 pm

Kathy and I just got back from four nights in Chattanooga, TN! We ate Brazilian in Marietta on the way up there.
s

We used to go there once every couple of months, but started exploring other areas nearer to us.

Beautiful moon, Monday night! We decided to stay at Knights Inn this time.
s
s

It was fun to go back to a place we knew well, but hadn’t seen in years.

I especially had fun flying my minidrone and blowing bubbles. Monday’s weather was perfect. Calm and just post rain shower.
s
s
s

The clouds were amazing.
s
s
s
s
Pink Zipper Cloud.
s
s

We had some delicious food including Mike’s for BBQ and Mr T.s for pizza/ice cream!
s
s

We had a great day at the Chattanooga Zoo! They have some great exhibits! Cotton Top Tamarins.
s
Training the Chimps.
s

Also went to the North Shore to look for antiques. The main place I go was closing down, so I got some amazing bargains. Like 60% off! What!? It was bigger than a football field with some really good venders. They are selling it to put in retail.
s

I liked the stained glass at Winder Binder.
s
s
Groovy!
s
Artsy area. I love graffiti.
s
s

Huh.
s
It was super hot.
s
We came ready to ride. I got sick the day K rode to Reflection Riding.
s

Wednesday, my stomach was killing me. Absolutely terrible night sleep and my guts felt like they were on fire. May have to really cut back on the salsa and jalapenos. Bahd luck.

It was great to get some rest. My voice is definitely better.

Came home to clean the house and get to watch Penelope! Baby is always awesome.
s
Sure love my family!!

DDay! FBC Jonesboro!

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:02 pm

Ashley and I enjoyed our Dedication Day with our team from Jonesboro, GA!

We gave Mike the Golden Egg of Eggcellence!
s

Sadly, right after I took this picture, my camera said the battery needed charging. It’s a brand new battery that I had charged up! It’s charging again now. Hopefully, this time it’ll work!

After the team gives their prayer promise to Jesus, I pray the Priestly Prayer in Hebrew and anoint their heads with oil from the Holy Land. They then sign the Landing Pad. Exactly three years ago today I first used the LP. It’s been covered with writing since then.

Took them on Safari to Global Mall. We ate Indian food at Ashianas.
s
s
s
s
s

Then upstairs to the Shiv Mandir Temple.
s

Went to Al Madina. Ashley had given each of the teams a PAID sticker. We had numerous people ask us what that meant. It was an amazingly good conversation starter! Jesus paid the price for our sins. That’ll preach!

Met back up at the church. The team helped us strike the set for The Show. Always makes it easier when you have 15 people helping!

Ash and I went on home after cleaning up the Fellowship Hall. We are both pooped. Today marked 13 days straight without a break. And you know we go at maximum levels every day. I’m really glad my voice will have a rest.

I finished editing the videos for the teams. Got one of the dvds burned and in the mail.

FBC Jonesboro! BHFM! Plants!

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:33 pm

Ashley and I enjoyed briefing our team from Jonesboro. Miles came today and loved on Penelope.
s

We had the Red Thread Ceremony this morning.
s
s

We took them on Safari to the Buford Highway Farmers Market.
s

Ashley and I got them on site to their missions, then came on home. We are both pretty much worn out. This is 13 days straight for us. One more to go. Give it my absolute best!

I sprayed my Pink Magnolia trees with some fungicide.

s
They had this white fungus growing on them.

Also fertilized them. They seem to be responding well to the treatment. One of the trees is getting ready to bloom.

s

Also went to Lowes to get the other bolts I need for the “P’s Tienda” project. I got supplies to build some more WhirlWands.

FBC Jonesboro! Plaza Fiesta!

Tim A. Cummins @ 6:51 pm

Ashley, Penelope and I had a great time briefing our team from FBC Jonesboro, GA this morning. Even though my voice is pretty much blown out, still did my best!
d

I had them choose a feather to represent themselves.
d
I’m still working out the details on how to use the feather motif. Everyone had different colors.. I know at the end, I want to give them a peacock feather. Everyone gets the same one, just far better.
s

Even though I just turned 58, I think Ashley can attest, that I rock harder than most of the young people.
s
Ashley is so beautiful.
s
s
s
It was great to have another baby in the house.
s
I wonder how many other ministries do their presentations with babies crawling around their feet?

We took them on Safari to Plaza Fiesta!
s

Then to the missions!
s
s
s
s

Enjoyed watching Penelope this evening. Gave Ash and Miles a little time together.

Kathy’s sister Ann came over for a visit and got to see Jesse this evening too! Double blessing!

DDay! Plaza Fiesta! The Show prep!

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:33 pm

I blew out my voice over the last two days. Sound pretty sexy!

Hard to sing.

I’ve been really aggressive about using microphones and amplifiers so I don’t strain my voice. But when get a big group, I go pretty much crazy.

The leaders get the Golden Egg of Eggcellence!
s
I also give them a golden lamp from Jerusalem and a copy of my new book Power Prayer.

Ash and I always enjoy talking about Mexican Catholicism. There are a lot of funny things that we show them.
s
s

Our Dedication Day is always special.

Passing the baton, “It’s up to ME!” Way to go, Penelope!
s

Putting the prayer cards in front of Jesus. The Rabbinic Blessing. Signing the Landing Pad. All part of our dedication process.

I added something new today which sounds and is a little bizarre. The Father gave me an image of Paul when he made a vow of shaving his head. I don’t take it that far, but I do cut a small piece of hair from them as a promise to pray Heaven Eleven for the next 28 days.
s
People would come up to me and I would do the best I could to talk them out of taking the Vow.
s
It’s a serious thing! It turned out to be pretty cool and quite meaningful.

We took them on Safari to Plaza Fiesta!
s
s

The group helped us set up for The Show for tomorrow. It’s a lot of work for Ash and I by ourselves.
s

I’ve been so tired in the afternoons, I haven’t shot nearly as much video as I normally do. Gotta try and rest. Last night I didn’t get home to 9pm.

I have a new team tomorrow morning for three days! Not sure how I’m going to handle it. Just do the best I can I reckon. Normally, that’s plenty good enough!

Admin duties now.

Rabbi! Al Madina! Global Mall!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:36 pm

Ashley, Penelope and I enjoyed briefing our teams on Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

s
s
s
s
s

I love the singin’, yellin’ and jumpin’ around.
s
s
s
s

Our Red Thread Ceremony.
s
On Safari to Al Madina.

The choir sang. The ladies wanted pictures.
s
s

Global Mall. Shiv Mandir.
s
Singing at the temple.
s
s

We had a block party at Forest Vale. Served over 400 slices of pizza.
s
d

And shared the Gospel.
s
s

Choir did great.
s
s
s
Home for admin duties.

Working on a list of the Whirlwind Missions Traditions 2016.

Got the WhirlWands and WhirlWater together. My special bubble solution and golden wands.
s
s

Also had the idea to do some spoken word things with Ashley based on lyrics from songs like “Speak Life” by Toby Mac and “Soul on Fire” by Third Day. I think it could turn out to be powerful.

Birthday Boy! Asian Square!

Tim A. Cummins @ 6:50 pm

Here’s to my 58th trip around the Sun! I share my birthday with Julius Caesar, Henry David Thoreau, Buckminster Fuller, Amadeo Modigliani, George Washington Carver, Oscar Hammerstein, Andrew Wyeth, and George Eastman!

Ashley and I had a wonderful time with our teams from Texas, Arkansas and N. Georgia!
s
s

s
s

I was really going at it.
s
I love my new megalaphone! It’s too big to be just a regular megaphone.
s
Raja Mode.
s
Buddhism.
s

The big globe.
s

P took a leak on me during one of my bits. Bahd luck. No big deal! : )
s
On Safari to Asian Square.
Coconut bun, ton o’ fun!
s
CD Tower.
s

And Penang with our team from N. Gwinnett Church.
s
s
Then to the missions.

We had one team that was turned away from Huntington Ridge because of new management. We’ve had missionaries living there for years. If all goes well the new guys will be cool with us coming. But you never know. It’s really important to have a sense of urgency in this work. All work can just suddenly stop.

We plan to have a block party for about 100 people tomorrow night along with an outdoor concert. Ashley and I did a recon of our pizza place to get prices for 50 cheese/pepperoni pizzas. Turned out to be about $6 a person.

Ash and I set up for The Show tomorrow.

I’m really doing maximum effort every morning. I was really tired this afternoon. I cut my day short around 4 pm, and went to Walmart to pick up some supplies before going home.

Sure feels good to rest.

Admin duties now.

K had to work late. Looking forward to seeing her soon.

I liked this. Birthday!

Ashley, Penelope and I had fun briefing our teams from Texas, Oklahoma and N. Georgia this morning!
d

Took them on Safari to the Buford Highway Farmers Market.
s
s

Then to the missions!
s

We were at several completely new missions today!
s

I stayed with the team from FBC Garland. I had to teach the bus driver the route to pick up and drop off the eight teams in the Norcross area.

We ate at the Hibachi Grill. The choir sang for their supper, plus $10.
s

Admin duties now.

Memorized over 100 people’s names.

And just to set the record straight, I have the no 1 Gran.
