Run! Podcast! Mission! J!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:25 pm

Down into the 20s last night and tonight. Hard on the animals.

Bird bath frozen again.
s

I had an R&R day today! For most that means “Rest and Relax.” For me it always means “Run and Record!”

I haven’t run for a few weeks due to an injury.
s
I hurt the bottom of my foot. Those tendons get inflamed called Plantar Fasciitis. Apparently, it’s common with runners and people who stand up a lot. Double whammy for me.

I did an easy 2.63 mile route. It was in the 30s, but sunny and felt fine.
s

Always something beautiful to see.

Frozen spots.
s
s

This always makes me feel hopeful.
s
But scared for the plants that start to bud out because of the warm weather and then get clobbered by the freezes. The Pink Magnolia trees are especially prone to this.

Vacuumed the house when I got home.
s

Had fun recording a new podcast this morning!

Woot! Do you ever worry about the future? All those suppositions, planted in a fertile field of the imagination.

Jump into “Bed of Supposes!”

Uploaded the edition.

Posted on Facebook.

Ate a sub and read an article in Wired magazine about Star Wars. I liked the weapons and helmets.

s

This is the gun that I use when I play Battlefont. It’s all based on Star Wars.
s
It’s called the E-11. Blaster rifle. Fun.

Checked on the mail at the church. Ashley had already picked it up. Not surprising.
s

Worked with the kids at the mission!

s

Great to have Ashley back!
s
I brought them doughnuts.
s

Practicing the 7X tables.
s
We are having a series of competitions each week. The winners pick their prizes from some Christmas gifts I had left over.

Noice!
s

Deposited checks. Amen!
s

Had a fun supper with Jesse! Always good!
d
Cheap gas on the way home.
s

Watched some Golden Globes with K. Also Death in Paradise—which I just found out was the top drama show on TV in the UK! Huh! It’s definitely some great writing.

Admin duties now. Another cold night in the ATL! Into the 20s again!

I felt like I was on safari when I saw these vultures with a dead opossum.
s

I laid out some rat traps this morning.
s
I heard one rodent scurry last week. I did trap one mouse yesterday. Perhaps there will be no more. Last year I had zero. I think that was because of having Mowgli chase all the scurrying things out of the back yard!

My crows were hungry.
s
Make up your mind.
s

Really cool and unusual clouds today.
